Nothing under 55 secs for me I'm afraid, in any car, doesn't matter how many laps I do.

I hope to make tonight’s races. I have had PC problems all week but hope to get round them for tonight. I think it’s the back-up battery, will get it fixed tomorrow. Hardly any practice, will have to use the default set up with 20 laps of fuel. Best lap time about 56 seconds in the Anglia so will be at the back.

I don't think that I will be racing tonight guys. Man flu has knocked me sideways.
I cannot stop coughing for more than a minute, so attempting to drive cars in close company probably won't end well for anyone.
Have fun guys, I trust that I will be restored to health for next week.

ok, reluctantly admit I'm giving up. Another disconnect tonight, I only seem to have this issue when running with UKGTL and strangely it's the most local server to where I live.
I just can't afford the practice to keep having only a few laps sorry guys enjoy the rest of the series.

Race 1 was fun although I was slow. Race 2 – A stupid big distraction leading to a stupid big accident. Race 3 - I was unable to get the imp to load on-line, I just got the message “Nothing” in the CAR DATA BOX. I think my racing evening just got worser and worser. Grats to winners and podiums. Good series Tony.

I'm sorry John, I hope our contact didn't help your early retire. First race Anglia was confortable 5th after all the world passed me first lap. Second race a gourgeos Sumbean gave me the win. ( While racing I was thinking if the car was too fast) Third race got 3rd in the Mini after a long battle with the wheel steering Anyone found that these cars eat only about half liter a lap? Next one, I hope.

Sorry mate , not going to let you get away that easy. Can you check something for me please? On the lobby screen, Middle bottom, there is a setting for Data Rate. What is yours set to?

First of all a get well soon to Clive - we missed you last night. Also very much hope John can get his issues fixed - you would be missed in future races!!! Enjoyed the races last night. Great track for these cars; especially the Mini & Imp were huge fun to thrash around here Race 1:Surprised to be 3rd on grid with a Mini. Got an ok start for a Mini, but a given I would lose places to RWD competitors. Got off easy with only one place lost, to Matt, but he was so fast I never saw him shoot past - all of a sudden I just had 3 cars ahead instead of 2 Entire race was a long chase of Geoffers, but he was too fast and gradually opened a gap. Traffic bunched us up again towards the end, but had to settle for 4th. Grats to the podium Race 2:Fully expected a qualy session, so thought it was a mistake when we went straight through 2 votes and on to the race. Behind Geoffers again, with our car selections switched. As everyone knows, he's one fast Mini driver, so he still had the advantage. The Anglia is the most nervous of the cars for me, and trying to keep up with Geoff had me on the ragged edge of losing control. Grazed the barrier when Fulvio caught me in his Imp. Partially lost control, first slowing him, but then letting him past as I slid on to the grass - great job avoiding contact Fulvio That lost me time, and later traffic cost me dearly, so any hopes of catching Geoffers were quashed. Grats to Fulvio & Geoffers Race 3:Now learned that the missing qual was intentional, and that grid position wasn't random, but practice lap times actually counted. Had already set a time, but didn't dare leave to have it reset, as I was afraid I might not be let back in. Got the impression we agreed to a 5-min qual session and figured problem solved, only to have another double-voter and going straight to race. Only just managed to load race setup in time to join grid, now in a wholly undeserved pole position. Figured I might as well make the most of it, not that I had been gifted it, so gave it my best when the flag dropped. A tenacious Matt hung on over the early laps, despite my best efforts to shake him. Eventually got a small gap though, but couldn't relax - fully expected Ziu & Geoffers to come storming through the field at any moment. Thus very surprised to be catching them towards the end, but replay revealed I had missed a lot of midfield drama, which had slowed them considerably. Grats to Matt & Fulvio

Great fun last night, slower cars always seem to produce good racing, easier to drive I guess so the gap between the fast & not so fast is less. Decided to drive my slowest car, the Anglia first, but as it turned out I managed to go quite a bit faster with it & lapped quicker than I could in the Mini. Could not stay with Ziu & Matt in their Imps & had Erling not too far behind in his Mini for most of the race, so quite intense from start to finish. Second race in the Mini, I got to start from pole, due to getting in a fast practice lap. Not intentional, & I made up for it by deliberately not doing so in race 3. Anyhow got the lead at the start & gradually eased away from Erling's Anglia. I expected Ziu to come through later in the race but it was Fulvio in his Imp who proved to be the fly in the ointment & after passing Erling he quickly caught & passed me & drove away to an easy win. Third race did not go so well. As I said I deliberately didn't set a practice time, so started midfield, got away quite well & was around 4th going into the hairpin. Unfortunately my new G29 caught me out again as I trod on the clutch instead of the brake & promptly ploughed straight on into the barriers . As I bounced back onto the track I collected a Mini, Ziu I think, so apologies if I wrecked your car. Chased back & regained a couple of places before spinning off, which started a sequence of gaining places then making a mistake & losing them again. Eventually ended up 5th which was much better than I deserved. Congrats to all the winners & podium places. Bad luck to John, I'm sure the answer is there somewhere, & get well soon Clive.

ResultsChoose the Imp for the first race as it was the only one I practiced with. Funny race - especially the last few laps In the 2nd and 3rd race with cars in which I neither practiced nor had a suitable setup I was really content to see the chattered flag. Would also prefer a kind of a 5 min quali for the future races. Get well soon, Clive! I hope you'll change your mind, John, and a solution of your problem can be found- CU on track

It s clear that Hillman has the same speed of Escort 1300 GT, Alfa Junior GTA with a good setup on tracks where one lap is sub 1 minutes and already we see that on BSCC, it s clear also that on Brands Hatch the lap is 1:52 - 1:51 and here Class C cars take they natural advantage. I jocked with Matt but already i knew that 51 seconds was possible and i cannot hidding that Hillman is one of my prefered car. Not is a surprise that we had the record laps during the race and not on qualy for me and Geoffers, because need several laps to have a good warmth on the tyre, on this series qualy is short and it s difficult to have a perfect package I not have any comment to race2 i need to understand better (i hope it happen) Anglia, the problem is on rear expecially setting the coast, anyway i did 52,8 on practice but onestly i dont know if i can repeat 52,6 of Geoffers Race3 bad place but good test also if i drove 19 laps with a suspension breaked because a collision with Geoffers, it has been an race accident.......race are also this. Anyway i m positive with Mini 970s because without the problem of my suspension i could get the laptime of Geoffers. Geoffers is the Master of Mini (not only) and i m slow than Geoffers but i think that the layout of the track helped me. Hope the next time to see another qualy system because yesterday it was a big confusion. Grats to Fulvio and Erling It missed to much Clive, i hope that you will are fine soon. For sure with Clive on the ring my Anglia could get more damage (i m jocking )

Overall good fun in these little cars on a grear track for them. R1--I was my own worst enemy in this one. Drove the Mini because I dont seem to adjust from RWD to the FWD cars. Was plagued with muscle spasm because of my lower back/nerve problem. Plus I think I was too aggressive and put myself in bad situations. R2--Took the Anglia which I'm still not confident in. Just can't seem to get a good setup for me or maybe it's me and just one of cars that I'll never be happy driving. Finished OK and about were I expected. R--3 Ahhh the most fun I have had in a long time. Both Huggy and I were in the Imp's and we (or at least myself) had a great time. This track has very few places that I could safely pass so dogged him for almost half of the race trying to get past him. We had a few slight touches and some paint scrapes but nothing serious, just clean side by side and rear bumper nudges. About half race we were joined by Ziu and Geoff who had trouble early, we did our best to keep them behind us and must say gave them a hard time on this quirky little track. I know they were both in injured cars, but still enjoyed it. Finally got past Huggy and then just drove the track and watched my mirror for his car to show. All in all finishes were my usual middle of the field and good fun. My feelings on the race start would be a very short Qualify time maybe enough to do 4 or 5 laps.

I'm with Bob, race three's dice was great fun, the closest race I've had for a while. Loved the track, and the three car three race format is great, far better for me personally than one very long race. The Anglia does seem to lack a bit of pace compared to the other two, but is quite nice to drive; the contrast between the three makes it interesting!
