Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Enjoyed all three races last night and it was good to see that the car choices allowed drivers to mix it up a bit. Grats to Geoffers for a very successful night's racing and thanks to everyone who took part.

I always enjoy the palace. 1st race was my best time, managed pole, then too heavy right foot in t1 put me on the grass
and last place. 2nd race I was ambling off on an out lap, when Clive came flying up behind, thought I could dive onto
the grass, but he was closing way faster than my brain could cope with, so ruined his qual lap.  hang sorry Clive
it was not deliberate  Embarrassed

Race 3 was fun, but couldn't get a decent pace in the imp which is usually the fastest car.

No worries Matt.

I don't think it had a detrimental effect on my performance last night. Starting on pole position would not have affected the results!!!

Race 1 and the Anglia that I selected needed a new rubber band...it was slower than everything else on the straights!! I am sure that I saw the groundsman pass me with his ride on lawnmower at one point!!!  Roll Eyes

Race 2 and the Imp that I chose at random just wanted to swap ends at any opportunity...apologies to anyone who came across a smoking roadblock with molten tyres.

Race 3 ...........I did not even register that there was a race 3!!!..............................just about sums up my night.  Undecided Huh

Happy evenings racing, must go on holiday more often if I get results like this when I return! Grin

Got a bit lucky in the first two races when the faster Anglias of Matt & Erling both spun out, although Tony kept up the pressure in the first race, well driven boss. Shame there were only 5 left for race 3.

Congrats to all podium mounters  clap clap clap

Crystal Palace has been my curse of a track in the past.  Not all bad on Monday, but still managed to be in the wrong car for all races it seems.  Race 1 pretty lonely, when I couldn't keep up with Tony's Anglia in my Mini.  Race 2 the best, with some intense racing with Geoffers, until the inevitable happened and I spun. Dropped me into the clutches of Tony again, and had to make an effort to stay ahead, although the balloon was pretty much deflated after Geoffers had gone.  Race 3 I couldn't keep up with Roger's Anglia, while Tony wasn't far behind.

Grats to Geoffers on a very strong hat-trick - you'll be very hard to beat in this series...  Smiley

Tony, I believe the results are switched round for race 2 & 3 - I was in the Anglia in race 2, and Imp in race 3, but results have it the other way round.
