Championship Standings here

Grid/server capacity: 22

RACE ONE

Practice: ~19:25 GMT (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:25 GMT (5 mins, One attempt at a timed lap only)
Race: 20:30 GMT (14 laps)

Track: Oulton Park Fosters Download this

Cars allowed: Mini Cooper 970S Download this Note: Not including '69 Mini.
Hillman Imp Download this Note: Car #'s 131 and 171 only
                       Sunbeam Imp Note: All cars
Ford Anglia Download this Note: Cars #20, 43 & 162 only  + skins below
Extra skins for Ford Anglia Download this Allow to overwrite existing files

Car restrictions: One drive maximum per make/per night. You decide which race you enter which make in. For the purposes of this Championship the Hillman and the Sunbeam are considered as one make.

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops: Not required

Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start time. NOTE: Race 3 was deleted due to server dropout.

British Summer Time (BST) has now ended. Until further notice all stated race times are shown as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The Anglia is the best car of the bunch but watch out for those high curbs which can flip the little Ford over.

I thought I might join in this evening if I get back from Trick or Treating in time. I connected up my G25 the other day and it seems to be working OK. ”fingers crossed”. Did some practice yesterday, I managed to put the Anglia on its roof, the Mini into a barrier and spin the Imp. This does not bode well for the race I think. My goal will be to finish the race and if not last of the finishers then I will possibly consider that a result.  Undecided

Hope that your wheel functions OK misnomis. My old G25 is also beginning to show signs of a stressful and abused life I think.

It appears to lose its calibration between races? and it takes several attempts at re-calibration to persuade it that the wheel needs to be central for straight ahead, and not somewhere around 30 degrees to the left or right!! This happens in GTL and in GPL, despite the wheel doing its normal lock-to-lock initialisation exercises at PC boot up.

Once beaten into submission it generally works OK, but I suspect the brake potentiometer is also not 100% fit, as I am regularly getting passed in the braking zones both in GPL and GTL.
I am contemplating a complete ( and careful)  strip down and clean, using some electrical contact cleaner that I have on my desk. It still feels solid , as does the shifter, but like all of us, it is getting older and if I cannot inject some new life into the electronic bits, there might be some retirement plans invoked.

Maybe a G27 ( or G270) for Christmas?? …"are you listening Santa? "

I destroyed two G25 shifter  Roll Eyes  and changed to a Thrustmaster shifter which has seven gears (http://www.thrustmaster.com/de_DE/produkte/th8a-add-shifter ).
Very good piece of work but often leads to shifting errors if I'm not precise enough.

About GTL to avoid problems with potentiometer brake you can setting dead zone 100%

Logitech not make more g27 and g270.... exist Huh

I know exist g920 e g29 manual shift it s an optional . Just you know that g29 is less expansive that g970
