What a superb version of this great track this is  Shocked Cool. A real roller coaster. We had some brilliant historics races back in p&g / gtl days at this place.

I’m probably only 50/50 to make this one with it being soppy Valentine’s Day  Tongue

One of my favourit tracks and in this combo it's insane. First sector is holding on for dear life  Shocked.

Only thing I'm worried about are the curbs, which have the same problem as Oulton. The seem flat and smooth graphically, but when you hit them wrong they can send you car 2 metres into the air  Tongue.

Isn’t that what they are supposed to do?  Smiley I noted your mention of the Oulton kerbs in the other thread as I had watched a real world track guide before the race and the commentator specifically pointed out that the kerbs were the old school jagged tooth type that should be mostly avoided as they will unsettle or at worst launch the car, so I think the Oulton kerbs were spot on. You can get half on them but anymore and the profile of the kerb will give you trouble.
Road Atlanta is an old track though this is allegedly a 2017 version of it. Depends if it has old or new kerbs! In my few laps I thought they were too high here  Undecided more like ‘Trief’ kerbs which they may actually be.

Sector 1 is blind faith  Grin you really can’t see the apexes  Shocked

Try it with some extra 100 kg   Cool

I didn't really notice much about the extra ballast in Imola but here the car is terrible to drive on race fuel. Fun track but time to lose some ballast for me I guess  Grin

It's not so much the curbs, but the transition from grass to curbs is a lot more abrubt on add-on tracks. Kinda hard to explain, but I don't experience the type of behaviour on laserscanned tracks. When you hit the curbs wrong, it's like hitting a wall sometimes and sending a car litterally 2 metres vertically in the air is not something I've seen in real life  Grin.

For instance the curbs on Monza are quite harsh, but when I take thos to far the car is unsettles, you can feel and save it and continue, but with some add-on tracks it's immediatly game over.

I'm going to try all the curbs on this track to prevent myself from finding it out during the race, like at Oulton  Grin.

Curbs here has a significant lower grip level . 92 contra 95 in AC normals.  Other section of track has lower grip level too (1-2 percents)
I dont know why the authors  make so. Jeffrey knows.  Wink  Smiley
It's 1 min  to fix it ( to bring AC standarts here). But too late.
PS I am thinking that track was desinged in earlier AC stage- when tires had  more grip a lot.  After last AC tyres changed they may be forgot to bring surfaces to AC standarts..

Indeed I'm aware, so if it goes Tango Uniform, it will be my fault. Reason why I didn't chose a file with more grip is because altering the track and reuploading is normally not allowed.
We are also spoiled with 100% grip normally, so having something different like this is a fresh wind IMO.
And last, I didn't want to hassle with extra files as that would make thing more prone to fail, especially with updates. Smiley
