I think that in '80s were used chicanes, it was really similar at actual Monza track. I prefer the old track, but for a historical correctness we should use the modern Monza.

I think there are only 3 tracks that are 'as raced' in the 80's. We aren't really going that much for authenticity, so I say go with the nicer tracks - Monza '66 and Silverstone '66 should give better racing in these brutes than the more modern variants anyway, and they can stand in for the Mulsanne as we won't be visiting it Personally I think the list is near perfect for these cars, we just need the Nords really

Correct, this isn't the most accurate choice, but the modern chicanes are so terrible, that I thought this would be more fun, eventhough there are only 3 corners now.

I was actually a bit disappointed with this track for these cars, it’s just not technical enough for downforce prototypes as it’s more suited to tail happy less-aero race cars. This is just flat out, brake a bit, flat out..repeat The track itself looks lovely and would love a suitable old car race at it, like the old formula single seaters or Maserati 250 etc

You might be surprised how much setup and line work you can do here I'm on 450 miles already and still picking up little tricks - I think this will be an especially interesting round provided we can all avoid sharing paint

Wow Jeff! You are right! I eating 3,62 l\lap fuel for now ( in 78 litres of initially load) So, 2400\ 79sec laptime = 30,38 race laps total 30,38 x 3,62 = 109.974 litres! car Fuel tank = 99! Need's 11 litres else for finish crossing What shall we do guys? 4 of 40 minutes is over limit. May be race time will fix on 35 min?

This race needs a pit stop. Fuel, maybe 110-115 liters. The average speed is really high, so we in 40 mins do a lot of km.

I was warned about it by Pete who was warned by Eck, so I didn't notice myself yet . Race will be normal 40 minutes and will probably require a pitstop, but the stop will not be manditory, so if you can complete the race without a stop, that's also fine. That should open up multiple strategies. Driving fuel efficient, hards with just a splash and dash, meds/meds, softs/hards or whatever you can come up with.

Exelent decision! May be it will be a step to Pit using in races! But i'll try to save fuel in hards, using gears management.. It's not so interesting for me but i must here... To try to limit my car in monza.. Trying to kill this track nature

No - well over 90% of the lap is at full throttle (Having a turbo-nutter-b*****d-car myself I'm well aware of the effect this has on ones fuel tank ), I wish I could reach out and twiddle the mixture dial! I might have noticed this a few days ago, and started working on multiple strategies as a result

Hmm I would not find the spare time for multiple strategies. So it’s balls-out hell for leather for me Won’t be the first time I’ve run out of fuel in this car
