Presume you mean make the car more ‘revvy’ with shorter gears? I already feel like I’m dicing with danger accelerating out of several corners with my quite short 2nd gear, but get what you mean. Just exiting the final corner quicker can gain several tenths before the sf line. You almost want 1sr out of it but it’s already easy to nose-plant the inside wall in a spin  Tongue

Yeah Mark, you got it right. I will send to you my setup, so you can check gear ratios.  Smiley

I did a few laps yesterday and I find the default setup pretty good for this track. You only need to slightly adjust gearing.

Lol Alexey, I would recommend watching some real onboard footage to get your bearings. This is a great track / car combo, I could happily lap around it all day if I had time. That’s also why it’s really bugging me I’m still 2 secs off the front pace despite pounding round the most I have done all season (thanks to that weekend snow  Grin ) but...   Cry

Real is not game\sim. Another one reason to fight lover  vs hater ( not to sleep for me next night) Well, well  Grin
BTW agree with Felix- default set is more better to this track logic.

About setups: the default camber/castor always seems way to much. The tyre temps are usually
something like LF 65/72/78  RF 78/72/65
So, I reduce the camber and still the tyre temps hardly change. DO you just leave these settings at default
or do you change them.?

In AC we have the camber func.  According this we can see ideal camber data via apps. So, in 962C we have ideal camber ( grip maximum when in turn) in front tyres when its turned at full left side in setup screen. In rear in this car as i see in telemetry- we have slightly less camber in turn than ideal. So, its better in turn because brings less understeet in turns in. Its in max left position too. So, leave both to max left ( use default) . Any other thoughts guys?  Smiley
PS. Hate this combo  Grin

There is a good app called ‘camber extravaganza’ on RD, it gives you live camber readings that are colour coded. I took a little less camber off last night and improved by a few tenths.

Brilliant, I was always wondering if there was an app for that.

So, the default works, but reducing it a bit can help. I have reduced to the minimum, and I still get the
tyre inner to be a lot hotter than the outside of the tyre. If people leave it alone mostly, and don't change it
I will ignore it. Thanks

Not wanting to teach granny to suck eggs or anything, but you're remembering the spool diff and the fact that you must steer using the throttle and brakes?
It helps I've had turbo-charged trackcars for nearly 15 years now, but balancing the car on boost is a tricky technique - doubly so in these buggers!

I'm not enjoying re-learning it at the moment now I have my car back for real, but technique is all the difference here.

Jeff, as i know, in AC this temperature ( inner\outer) differencies is not good way to check when car camber setuping... This functionality is far away from other true sims and reality. In Kunos, tyre pressure and "tyre "core" temperature" is main thing here.. And not overheat the tyre more than 100 -150 C.

^This!! I've never been able to read the telemetry apps while driving so I'll give this app a go aswell.

PS; loving the combo. Kinda like a mad rollercoaster ride where the slightest mistake will send you into the gravel.  Cool
