It is an addictive combo for sure. I don’t think I’ve done this many practise laps for a race in a long time (years!) The odd thing with this track is I can be within tenths of my pb with 3 different setups  Huh Yet still can’t get near the 1:20  Cry must be lack of talent/technique  boat

Another one hate  Grin
+0.6 sec of my lap time is paddles and not small input lag from my TV. Due that,  i'll drive with 4 gears here for better stability and not to loose time in shifts ( tested and approved).  Be warned, Mark about my gears!  Wink
+0.5 sec is my old age and incoming marazm  Grin
But +1 sec else is a result of full mazo combo. Absolutely not suited for stabil racing here. All of telemetry data and FFB forcesare  in protest here by all of possible ways  Grin
Extra car power, big turbo moments, short suspention  movement and absolutely blocked diff is making Big Mazo in me  Grin
Anyway i hope in good fight with good guys !  Smiley

Did a few tweaks to my qually setup and *just* made it into the 19's (offline). Should have the potential for a mid 19 now given it's warmer in the server and I made a mistake Wink

Just got to figure out how I want to play it in the race now - that's a tricky one here!

I also found that there are a good 2 or 3 ways of making the same speed here with totally different setups -easiest to drive is always the best choice in these instances.

Just tried the combo, feels horrible to me so I see no point joining this one, especially with the splitting headache.

I'm pretty satisfy for the race
Qualified 7th, finished 4th. Kept the gap with Thomas 5th, I tried to fight with FMG, but he was 2 or 3 tenths faster than me, and the cars overlapped slow me more.
Great race, great fun and great car here, thanks for the choice and congratz again to podium

Got a pleasing 7th place finish, which was about the best I could hope for behind the fast front group. Smiley  But it was a fairly dull solo hot lapping exercise once again  Cry I really am stuck in no mans land lately, not quick enough to race the hot shoes but also getting no challenges from behind.
Grid looked fab scuttling through this twisty roller coaster in the first few laps.  Cool
Apology to fabri early on who caught me after he fell off. I was trying to encourage you to pass me rather than hold you up but it meant I was getting scruffy in the corners running wide and costing us both time until you took the hint and went past.

Love the combo just wish I had found the sweet spot to race faster.  Undecided

Finally my first victory with AC on SROUK.  Shocked Shocked

I like a lot Laguna Seca, and I admit that this combo was quite difficult but very exciting at the same time.
Went with the Silverstone setup made by Gavino for the third race in row with some tweaks to gearing and rear wing. A setup good for all seasons I'd say  Grin

Despite FMG's macumba on my meds option before the race start, I was pretty sure to be able to finish the race with a constant pace, because I tried an entire race with meds on the server yesterday, suggesting to use that compound even to Alexey and Mark after my training, but they didn't trust me. Grin Longer stints and less trust in tyre app is my suggestion for the next Wink

My pole laptime was great but Felix was only 17 milliseconds slower, and that was the key for the victory. With my meds I created immediately a good gap during the first laps when Felix and Maikel were fighting each other with their cold hard compund. After some laps the gap was big enough to start some reasoning, saving a bit my tyres for the last laps. At half race circa I noticed that something had happen behind me because Maikel leaved the server and Felix dropped from 5 to 15 seconds behind me.

By that moment the road was open to the victory and I could have lost the race just for my fault, but luckily I stayed focused until the checkered flag.

Hope to be there for the next. See you Smiley

It was a really great win, congratulation, Matteo!
Let's Gavino's macumba trust continue  with you in ages!
 Smiley
What rig and ffb settings are you using to be so smooth and in preciseness ?
Can you pm me a replay of your fastest lap for memories?

Ha, Molte bene per vittoria Matteo, outstanding pace  I Am Not Worthy
It was not a matter of trust in the medium tyres, it was more a matter of knowledge that my driving skills wouldn’t be as good as yours to keep them intact  Tongue I had tried long runs on the meds but I had yellow rears after 10 laps, so kudos to you for making them work.
I didn’t get time to test your setup sadly as I had technical issues before the race and lost all my practise time  Roll Eyes so I ended up with a compromised version of my own race setup that wasn’t as quick as the one I had formulated in all my practise  Hit with a wet fish

Very sloppy race for me. Start was good and managed to keep up with a struggling Felix. Bout halfway through he made a little mistake which allowed me past. A lap later I passed a few lapped cars and saw the gap was already 3 seconds so I thought I could take if a little more easy. Of course right at that time I hit that fat sausage kerb on the inside of that fast lefthander and went wide. I hoped to be back out before the backmarkers but as soon as I hit the tarmac I spun around. Chased after fmg after that but my gearbox was taking a beating and now everytime I shifted I saw it getting redder and redder. So with about 10 minutes left it blew up and that was my race.  Grin

I set off ok, then on lap2? I was up the inside of someone going over the start line when we either made contact
or I drove over one of the marker posts, and somersaulted up into the air, landed on my nose, and went end over end
off the track, I think I may have landed on someone's roof. Gave up after that, not happy.
