That was intense, as Felix said.

After a great qualif lap I hoped to be able to escape by the pack in the frist lap, but my first Eau Rouge attempt went not so good and Felix could exploit the slipstream and pull the braking at the end of Kemmel straight, taking the lead of the race.
I got a bit nervous during the first laps cause I was too impatient to try an overtake making slight but constant mistakes on my braking point. In that way, even if I was slightly faster on the single lap, I gave some 3 seconds of advantage to Felix in the first half of the race, a bit too much.
Only after mid race I started to make again my pace, gaining slightly on Felix lap after lap, and with two laps to go his advantage was again under the second. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't able to try an attack and Felix crossed the line with a gap 0.8 seconds, taking a deserved victory. Well done mate  Wink

Hope to see you for the next Smiley

Yes, it was good battle with Mark J. Very good overtake in 1st lap, Mark! I was good surprised. thumbup1 Then i make 2-3 small slide mistakes, lost 2 pos else. Then return these. And begun to catch MarkJ . Too many small slide mistakes , but i was right behind Mark but he was disco . So sorry... Then tryed to approach to Porco, but race was finished. I am in 6 pos. Good result for me.
Porco, why you was reachable for me in the end? Car damage?
Congrats podium and Felix. Increadible skill and lap times!
Thanks to Larry - he was very good in passing laped cars  Smiley

I did two mistake at Stavelot, bit external, after the third mistake the server give me a drive through.
After this I managed my gap, but I didn't know that you was so near, so I kept the throttle up too much!

As I type this I am watching the 962 racing at the 1987 Le Mans 24H on motorsport.tv.  What a car.

Uneventful race for me, but resulted in a 7th place, so happy with that.  Slipped past Alexey when he made a mistake at Rivage on lap 1.  Sat a safe distance behind Mark J who slowly pulled away.  Then Alexey caught me up and as he was clearly faster I didn't risk tangling with him and he soon got past.  With the rubbish set up I had, with cold tyres throughout the race (I really have no idea on setups) there was no way I could keep pace with Mark J and Alexey.  So I settled down to hot lapping on my own and keeping it on the tarmac.

Congrats to everyone who finished in front of me.

P.S.  Don't forget the Jim Clark 50th Anniversary race next Tuesday  https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=14875.0

That made the disco extra annoying for me as I could see we were closing in on Porco rapidly and a 5th place finish was on the cards or at least a 3 car battle for it,  in one of my fave car/track combos (from a real world point of view). I don’t know why my isp has started dropping my connection since last week  Cry could be software related but I haven’t changed anything.

I think it’s my isp playing up but can anyone recommend a good background task closing app for win10?

There are some decent looking ones here but not sure if they are win10 compatible.

Mark, did  yours message was "server not available" ? And when you quit o lobby it was possible to rejoin to session? If so , imho, you call isp and if he will say to you that no resetr connection was, you must to know that is yours lockal problem. Remember- i have the same problems earlier. And it was not isp disco. I remember i clear the system and begun to shut down unnessesary application windows using control panel. Aaaand.. problem was gone!

))) you answered when i writing a post ))) So.. call ISP about disconnect.
I dont  remember for now how i fixed this issue.. But now i am using windows task manager, and closed Abobe arcobat update serveses, Dropbox servises, updates, disable av first. The main thing was i 've found a error message in windows event viewer and found that diskonnect was with same time when one internal win process was caused a crash! It was really help me in sovling problem. !
So, check windows event logs using event viewer. This kind of app errors will be in log. Sorry i dont have a eng links for here.

Thanks Alexey, yes I did get server unavailable two nights in a row and twice last night. Each time I was able to just rejoin so something is dumping me out or losing the connection. No fault lights on router.
I had shut a few apps before last nights race but didn’t help. Bet it’s something from avast or such like working in background.

That was an epic battle to the end - gutted I messed up Eau Rouge somehow just after passing Fabri.
I'd only been trying to get in front for 35 minutes Grin

The loss of front downforce made passing here very difficult - if I got a run at the bottom of the hill and got close the car would just wash out off of the track and onto the run-off tarmac. Instantly loosing any gain I had made! Same for entering Eau Rouge too close to the car in front, very messy.
I demand a re-run (just because I want to do it again Wink )

When I see yellow things close to me, I have nightmares. Almost at every race I have to fight against you, FMG. Epic!

In the final part of the race some lapped guys (specially my teammate Nuvolari) made a bit of a mess, and I had to start defending myself at each corner.
