wow, very nice mod of the track, its so detailed and looks authentic. Quite bumpy though! may have to raise our cars a tad. I presume we are using the F1 layout? though surprised you don't want to try the banking  Undecided
Stunning on the replays.  Cool

ps..Peter-San, can we have it on the server? Ta  Smiley

I think the F1 version is the one they used in real life.

Jeffrey, i need your good lap replay and setup. Otherwise my hate to road mesh author will win on me and i will not see myself in this track mod anymore.  Grin
Let's this track mod convert author will learn from Lilski how to build a proper vintage mesh ( Bridgehampton).  Sad

My Rothmans team engineer measured a track mesh some minutes ago and said that this track is not racing approved due hollows more than 10 sm depth in 5 meters length of surface in some places. He said that in Siberia we have more better road surfacas in village- village routes. I agree with my engineer, guys, and will be absent in this event. So sorry, this track in AC should be more better. More closer to real amologatoin to racing on. Or used only with higher suspention movement and softer springs car( Jeep Cheroki) . laugh
No question to admins and Jeffrey i know- he want only good things and wishes  Smiley I hope Felix will end the race alive and will get his championship in this Fuji track! I will ask a race replay file to see how it was  Smiley

Anyone found the trick for coping with the bumps here? I tried various damper increases front and rear and raised the car a bit but it still feels like a bucking bronco in some corners.

Funnily enough I was running Group Cs here yesterday without realizing you were racing here tonight. I've finally managed to get some kind of feel in AC from my DFGT so I might join you if that's ok.

Yeah, I read through that thread on RD and tried a few of the suggestions but never really got anywhere with them. However Stefan kindly pm'd me suggesting I try loading the default G25 settings and after a couple of additional tweaks things seem better. I still don't get much help with the feel under braking but I seem to be able to sense corner grip better and feel exit oversteer better than before. Still far from perfect but at least workable.

Ride height, dampers, springs, arb's and hold on tight  Grin

I went high and soft for mine. Need to have a play with aero yet and might tweek the tires more - I still need to go faster to catch Felix and Matteo...
