Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

That much fun, has to be illegal.

Grats Pete and JP. Dieter must have accidentally kicked a small adorable creature, if it wasn't for bad luck.... and no, I wasn't involved.

Dieter and I had a misunderstanding after he hit the small creature, he was plainly a bit faster, so after
a close call I moved onto the grass to let him through, but I think he missed the point, so then we
had some fun trying to not keep me in front  lol

True though, with a few people on the right track these things are insanely close racing the cars
are not fast enough to allow much difference between the  alien alien alien alien and mere mortals  thumbup1

Enjoyed that, nice to see a few more turning up semi regularly on a Thursday at the moment Smiley

So hard to be consistent in these with their lurid sideways action especially in that 1st chicane. I never managed it in qually, I was .2 up on my last lap but ran out of time with just the last corner to go. I was having problems with loss of power again this week. I went in to the controller options and it shows pedal deflection as I'd expect so I changed sensitivity from the default, I assume, 50% to 100%. Not sure if it did it once or twice in the race as when I was worried I get right out of the gas and try again trying not to lose too much time. Talking to Mark and Eck they've not seen this behaviour but I'm getting it fairly regularly in RRE. Tonight it was generally in 2nd, trying to get out of the 1st chicane, or in third in the fast right kink or last corner.

Well that was fun great fun! well done Pete on the win and nice close race with ES, these cars really suit this track!

But I couldn't help thinking what the hell i was last place at the beginning of practice and I just couldn't work out why. End of last year my v1 Fanatec wheel base gave up the ghost so I invested in the new 2.5v one and ever since then I have been slightly off the pace. This I put down to setting up the force feedback again as you carry over the setting for the v1 and getting used to the new wheel base.
Well I was wrong! when I put the new drivers on it must have reset my pedals on done something as I have only been getting 90% throttle at the top end and in these NSU's that makes a hell of a difference. The good news is its all sorted now ! to the next race!

Me too, if we're talking about the same thing? To me it's like a random transmission or clutch fault - rev the engine all you like without going anywhere. Coming off the throttle cures it, but it's extremely annoying. I think I get it more in the NSU than other cars, though it can occur in others too. Had it in qually tonight, but not in the race.

@Matt - sorry for the confusion, I was just looking for some company really..

Congrats podium.

My problem is foot to the floor but the revs climb very slowly. Last week it was like someone had stolen the turbo. As I said I'm not sure I had it it the race as it's quite easy to bog down in these and I wasn't waiting to find out last night. It's definitively worse in practice / qually, not sure I had it last week in the race either, but for sure it messed up a qualification lap or 2 last week. I had it at Bathurst before that too. It's like a mini cut track reduced power thing but it happens when I've not cut the track as the laps are still timed.

Is there a slow down thing on the server active for practice/qual but not the race.

I don't think the slow down does anything in prac or qual, it just whinges at you

Ah ok, that is a different problem to the one that I get then. Sounds like a bug either way.

I would like to use this "bug" as an excuse, but sadly I can't  Sad
I like John's excuse though, Lord help us if he now has full power at his disposal...  Shocked

Engine has little bottom end torque and in one of the gravel traps, the only way I could only get the car moving was to slip the clutch until I got sufficient speed to fully engage the clutch so that first gear would pull the car out of the gavel! Luckily the clutch survived and gave no problems for rest of race.   Roll Eyes
