I think the pitcrew uses teacups to full the tank, as 16 litres of fuel took just as long as changing 4 tyres.

That must be some server setting. If you remember in CORE to change 4 tyres are needed approximately 20 secs. That amount of time is reasonable in a non F1 race and I guess that it should be the same for this champ, or you will have practically the same strategy for every driver with these cars.... apart from fuel saving strategies Roll Eyes
I started with medium tyres and didn't changed it keeping in mind the amount of time needed to replace them on CORE. My strategy was a splash and go (4 seconds of actual pit instead of 20 with CORE timings) keeping the same tyres during all the race. Had I knew that 20 litres of fuel did cost much time than a tyre change I would have changed it as every driver with a functioning brain, cause my mediums were bloody red, even if they were still manageable.

Do you SROUK drivers agree with me? Huh

In AC , times of pit services are defined in the encrypted file phisics for each car . Not server settings depends.
For 962S here is a code strings :
[PIT_STOP]
TYRE_CHANGE_TIME_SEC=10
FUEL_LITER_TIME_SEC=0.6
BODY_REPAIR_TIME_SEC=20
ENGINE_REPAIR_TIME_SEC=2
SUSP_REPAIR_TIME_SEC=30
Pilot needs to check this times in practise sessions by himself.  Smiley

in one of my test stops (yes I do actually sometimes test pitstops you know  laugh ) I think i timed 20L of fuel going in at 23 seconds, no idea if that's quick or slow in the real world but did think, jeez this takes an age whilst waiting for them to 'tea-cup' it in. Tongue

ah that's interesting about being car specific for stops, maybe they simulate those big funnels they used to stick in the fuel tank and pour a can of petrol into it. nice find Manteos.  is that tyre change time 10 secs for all 4? or 10 secs each wheel?  And I know Porsche mechanics are good, but 2 secs for engine repairs?!  Shocked Grin

Didn't know that. Thanks for the info. In this case 20 litres took 12 seconds, that's why I was a bit surprised about the lenght of my pit.

It's never too late to learn  Roll Eyes

Thanks guys for the race. Was really fun.  Cool
At the start  I had to go over the grass as somebody spun in front of me. I tried to manage to get out of the trouble. It worked out, but then at the after the first Lesmo a car spun in front of me and I hit it very hard.
My car was totally damaged and I had to get back to the pits for repair. Bad luck...
My pace was ok for me and I let the blue flagged cars passed and tried to sort myself in the ranking. Later I could catch up to some cars which lapped me and passed a few. I hope it was not to aggressive from my side  Lips Sealed Some of you let me pass. Very nice and fair driving thanks for that :-)

I had a whit skin. I guess the skins were not updated on the server?
Anyway it was fun and I'm looking forward to Silverstone.

Congrats to Felix and the podium. Very fast and good pace especially on the hard tires (which I didn't even tried during practice  Embarrassed)
