tried to find the server again tonight, trawled through the whole list again and couldn't see it. Some people here were mentioning it being on the 'second page', I only seem to have one long page?

are there any settings in the game i need to do before looking for the server?

I am also not liking the force feedback very much, I get good feeling over the curbs and chicanes but I cannot feel understeer at all.

If I searched for "simracing" (no quotes) I had to scroll one page to see the server the other day. I didn't do anything with filters so can't say if you've got any set that hides it.

try turning down "Dynamic Damping : 100"  in ACC controls config,  somewhere in the 25-50 range should open up the wheel and give much more feel

Been hordering my Amazon vouchers for a while and as a birthday treat I've upgraded to an MSI 2080 Ti Trio from 2x GTX 970s in SLI. Left the rest of the PC the same. It's 5 years old but CPUs don't seem to have come very much farther in that time and I had to remortgage the house to upgrade the graphics card anyway!

HOLY MOTHER OF COWS...I've never had such a performance leap with any upgrade ever before. 5760x1080 EPIC details in ACC and AC. Even in the rain and night it copes with a full grid. Wow! Just Wow!

I've also discovered in ACC in the "View Settings" for adjusting FOV and height and stuff when you're in the cockpit a setting called "Projection wierdness" (or something like that) which seems to help with the stretching on the side monitors so it feels much more normal for a triple screen user. Changed it from 0.0 to 1.0. I can share my view settings for other triple screen users if it helps. I have the FOV at 20 I think.

Fine by me. Might be worth testing any of the available features? Dynamic weather, pit stops, etc?

For no one in particular, we can all do with a hand from time to time... getting online is a real pita first/any time.
(this has worked for me, since I said I couldn't get in  Embarrassed)

It seems like the server list does not include PW'd servers, you need to search for them.

In the line directly above the server list, (Search here etc) type "test" (as always, without quotes)

This brings up a list of a varying number (sometimes many) scroll down that list (it includes many locked/pw'd servers)

Hopefully, this helps everyone...  angel

Seems somebody else had already spotted that periods in the search string didn't work and had reported it as a bug on the official forum. I've added my tuppence worth.

Spent an hour and half on there this eve, (Thanks BBC for a double Eastenders  laugh ) quite enjoyed familiarising myself with it a bit more. The graphics and sounds are stunning.  Physics feels good too on the whole, love the feel of the mushy tyres. Ffb felt good too.
Only tried the Audi (by default) and the Aston (which felt a pig compared to the Audi on the aggressive setup)
I used my triples and tweaked the view to something acceptable but still looks wrong on triples. The dash is squashed into central monitor looking too narrow whilst the two side views stretch back on the two side monitors. The tweak Simon mentioned helped but still needs sorting.
Frame rates felt smooth day and night.
The night driving is stunning. Anyone who’s watched Le Mans at night will get it straight away, it’s spot on  Cool
Overall it’s very impressive but with work to do on vr and triples.

Ps I couldn’t get chat to work  Huh

Did wonder if you were SQ  Tongue. Can see you’ve spent far longer on this sim than I have  laugh I had my mirror distance only set to 20m so you and Simon kept disappearing and reappearing  Tongue I set it longer now.
