Unfortunately it doesn't look like here's much interest for ACC. Weird, other leagues are archiving very healthy grids with ACC Huh

I enjoy ACC and would race, just can't do Wednesdays at the moment. That will probably change in a few weeks though.

The biggest community for ACC I know of is RedlineMotorsport. Unfortunately their second ACC season, which starts this month, is already crowded with 140 registered participants, while atm only 130 are allowed to race.
All 130 participants are spread across five servers, with the classification dependig on their skill level.

We're just not advertising right if there is that kind of demand.

wow 140 racers!  Shocked proves this place sadly sucks if we can only muster 4 interested drivers  Roll Eyes No wonder I struggle to get any interest no matter what the race content  Cry

But where do all these racers find out about these sites? and why don't they find their way here?

All advertising is good advertising. Tbh I’m happy to race the AI for a bit. Not as fun as humans but some of the best AI ever in a racing game.

On reading about another big grid GT race at Spa using this sim,  I thought I’d fire it up for first time since September and try out VR. I opened it from within steam using the ‘play with oculus VR’ option and got to say it worked right off the bat. I didn’t need to adjust seat position or anything, the cockpit view was spot on. After running a couple of laps I tweaked a couple of visual settings, increasing vr pixels to 110% and steadily knocked up car lod detail to 50% (default was at 25% which seemed low to me) just to see affect. Each time the visuals improved and got a smooth enough frame rate with epic/high detail for all else and a 20 car grid. I was impressed and I haven’t read any threads yet on best/optimum Gfx settings. It was just a curiosity test and now I’ll look further into it as I liked what I saw. Vr definitely isn’t unplayable! I could easily race with it as is and my rigs 3 yrs old.

Are you ACC guys racing anywhere else?

SRO are running a new series using ACC every Tuesday from 28th Jan. Quite tempted but it overlaps my current F1 75 series so I might have to miss a few rounds as can’t commit to two such different sims on consecutive nights. Just thought handful of ACC’ers here might be interested as not much interest on here sadly.

Do you have a link Mark?

Tuesday is bad for me as my oldest child does football training on Tuesdays and I’m the the taxi driver! So  depends what time it is.

1hr sprint series. If i cant make this series i will definitely keep an eye out for another ACC series. I think its a great sim with real close racing and a real shame we cant garner interest here  Undecided

Nice but its a Friday so I am usually in a pub. I see they have a cool 6hr Bathurst Race coming up in February. No way I could race that long these days, my eyes would melt.
