Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 241s

As the pack approaches the braking zone for Adelaide for the first time there is some contact between Greg130, Maurice Claessen and then Mark@GP.
Greg leaves his braking relatively late considering it was lap 1 and has to change direction, while under heavy braking, when Evert Blommert in front moves to the right in the braking zone.
Greg locks up, Evert realises what's happening a moves left while Greg slides through and rear ends Maurice.
There is nothing Mark can do to avoid bumping Greg's stalled car, which he finds stopped on the apex as he turns in.
Although Greg braked late and did have a rear ender Evert's movement across the track in the braking zone definitely played a part in the outcome, so I am reducing the penalty from what should be 3 places for a first lap incident down to 2.

  • evert blommert (Evert Blommert)warning — choose a definite line before reaching the braking zone — 0 places lost
  • greg130 (Greg130)penalty — rear end shunt — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Don spins as he enters the s/f straight and ends up stuck in the middle of the track, but off the racing line.
Aagramn is approaching in the Mosler and, just as he passes, Don rejoins and clips the side of the car sending Aagramn into a spin.
Don then waits for Aagramn to rejoin ahead of him.
From Aagramn's incar view it appears that Don sees him coming and is waiting for him to pass, so Aagramn goes for the gap after a brief hesitation.
I'm a bit confused by this one because it appears from Don's incar view that he did wait initially but then started to accelerate too early, maybe not realising how close he was to the racing line, and thinking that the Mosler would be gone through by the time he got there.
In the end, after reviewing it several times, I find I have to apply the full penalty.

  • Don (Don1)penalty — bad rejoin — 3 places lost

What bandwidth have you got Simon? I have bandwidth we could use, but it would be useful to know how much you are using at the moment.

I think it's 20Gb a month and 10Gb is used so far this month.
Might be good if I could upload the addon tracks that we are using somewhere so at least those downloads are off a different site.

My business website has 50Gb a month and about 600Mb free at the moment. It is not being used much at the moment although that may change. While things are quiet, if you want some files hosting then just drop me a line and I'll set it up.

For the only GT Legends track so far yes Tyf, the GTR tracks might not necessarily have been from TyfDesk and the GTR ones I've made into proper GTR Manager downloads with any updates from other locations. I've made them GTR Manager zips so if we ever update them they will be versioned.

Would be great if we could have a UKGTR specific section on TyfDesk where we could be official UKGTR tracks for download, would be helpful. Is that possible and to get upload details?

Making all the downloads on there GTR Manager pr00f would prolly take a long time, but I'll look into that. Need to change loads of stuff to the site, which I will hopefully start on this coming week. 1 Page per track for instance with more info on what's actually in the download, lol! (picture, version, updates, etc Smiley)

PM me about what u mean with a UKGTR specific section plz m8. At the moment I'm thinking that could end up with hosting multiple instances of the same file (track), which is not a good idea imo Smiley. But we'll have to see.

Website Gurus still in dire need btw, lol! Cheesy

T

P.S. There's so much u can do with this site it's mind boggling for a design-n00b like me Smiley. Databases, ASP, PHP, etc !? Can't see the forest for the trees tbh Cheesy/
