But what is the rule about cutting the chicane? As far as GTL allows it, or always 2 wheels on the track (including kerbstone) and the grey stuff is no kerbstone.

The only practical rule is that we allow what GTL allows, with the caveat that a driver who causes an incident as the result of what could be regarded as unreasonable corner cutting will likely face a stiffer penalty as a result. But I don't think that's likely in this case.

Good stuff, looking forward to this one.  Smiley

Sounds like my PB of 1:52 in a Cortina will need a bit of working on.

Good turnout chaps- 25 on the start for a non-official league race? Not bad at all.

Couldn't get it together in qualifying and then got nudged twice in the race, the second time saw me trying to start the engine for about 30 seconds. I was about to hit escape when it suddenly kicked into life. Grabbed back a couple of places but a little frustrating. Good fun overall though and Germany has all the best tracks IMO!

Well that was both great fun and very hard work leading to disaster.

Qualified okay in 10th amongst a pretty tight grid, managed to defend off the start and even snatched a place on the first flying circulation. Dragged myself up onto the back of Dan Minton and Locutus but started to have problems braking for Conti, and sure enough after a few hairy moments I spun and lost loads of time rejoining. After that I struggled to stay on the track there, and then having worked my butt off to catch Don I was a very silly boy and cut the chicane a bit too much for a third time and got a stop and go. After that things went from bad to worse when Don spun on the back straight and I didn't slow enough to pass his out of control car, rolling and slipping almost to last.

After that I totally lost touch with everyone but 2nd and 3rd place cars but hung on in there for 15th and (I think) a single point.

Hopefully the server replay will be available (and no doubt I have remembered all that stuff above in the wrong order!)

Very pleased to see a good turnout and from what I saw the new guys (including the mass invasion of Ghostspeed drivers Cheesy ) we've gained quite a few good, clean racers who aren't aliens. Grin

Grin Firstly well done Ruskus, but I'd like to say if this is what the rest of the season is going to be like then BRING IT ON!!
Had fabulous races with Greg130, Locutus and MichaelB, to name but a few, all nice and clean, I even made it more interesting for myself by missing a braking point  oops and hitting the barrier wacko and then having to wait for everyone to get past safely. Tongue

But PHEW! what a race in the midfield!  Shocked
Well done to everyone, brilliant, server was also very stable relatively low pings, 120 ish.

Oh and I think MichaelB and myself deserve a prize for the closest finish, 0.001 of a second in my favour,  .

Had a good run in qually PB by 0.7 Grin Was very happy with 3rd.
The race started and I soon found myself 4th which was about right, Rui rod pulled a nice move on me around lap 6-7 and then started to pull off. But I got lucky cus I think he span a couple of times and then PG ran outta' fuel so I ended up with an underserve 2nd Tongue Thought there might be more cortina's tonight, I guess alfa are gonna win manufacturers title Cheesy
Bad news on my gtl disc, a crack seems to have appeared in the centre of the disc. Dunno how much longer it'll hold out Sad Hmmmm, suddenly r-factor seems really good Grin
Grats to Ruskus on his victory

I prefer to think of it as official-ish. Wink I don't think there were any significant technical issues so I think we will make this count as a championship round.

Awful qualifying say me start in 21st.  However this meant I had great fun battling through the field to finish in 10th.
Apologies to PW, not sure if we had a coming together, didn't feel anything but noticed you span.
Some really close racing in the middle of the pack, great fun

Great to see a fair few turn up for tonight, amazing pace at the front as usual and grats to Ruskus on a good win!

Managed to qualify in 6th with a PB and spent the early part of the race trying to hang on to the back of the lead 'pack' behind Paul968.  Paul then got disco'd Sad which stopped a potentially good battle and then was left to try and catch JonM.  Had a very slidey moment coming into turn 1 and lost sight of him, then spent the next 10 or so laps staying about 9 secs back to the flag, in the end for a very welcome 3rd Grin well chuffed with that Smiley
