Yes, i tried all fps variants and my first mistake was to activate the old 69 mod but i double checked everything 5 times like IP.
I could connect to Gplracer with the correct settings as well....i'm confused

Bastian maybe in the iGOR setting anything is set wrong?

But

I used the 2nd server with this special iGOR version, I will investigate if there are any known issues.

For the tuesday race I will make a test, I hope we will get a full grid.

Congrats Andreas and Dean!

This was my first online race running GPL in Linux (Linux Mint 18). The computer worked almost flawlessly. There's one slight bug but it had no effect on the racing. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 1200 cpu paired with a EVGA GTX 750ti. I installed the oldest gpu drivers that would support my video card. The GTX 1050ti I bought last year was plagued by chat stutters from disco/join messages. I think something must have been dropped from newer gpu drivers because I never had those problems with the 9500GT gpu I was using when I started driving GPL.

That was fun but a little frustrating too. I might have qualified faster than Andreas had Fran not spun in front of me on my fast lap. I finished that lap rally style. I didn't want to lift so late on a fast lap. I barely dodged Fran and finished the lap driving on the grass banking on the left.

My car was lousy on the first lap. It didn't take me long to make a mistake. I guess Mike got tangled in my mess. My apologies. It wasn't going to be easy to pass you as long as you didn't make a mistake. I was still in decent shape when I caught Axel. I thought I might be able to catch Andreas if I could quickly get by Dean too. Axel made a slight mistake that allowed me to pass quickly but I couldn't complete the pass. I knew then it was unlikely I would ever catch Andreas but I still had my sights on Dean. I caught Axel a second time. This time he unexpectedly lifted to let me pass just as I fell in behind him. Luckily I slowed enough to have little effect on Axel but it put me in a slide that cost lots of time. There was no chance to catch Dean after that.

Thanks for the fun guys. I hope to participate more but I don't have much time for practicing so I'm probably going to be erratic like in this race. As long as I don't wreck anybody that doesn't matter to me though. I'm not sure if it was Mike or Fran that got caught in my early spin. If that hadn't happened, I would have thought this was satisfactory.

Take care guys.

You know that some people are different
Now ain't that a crying shame
Now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same

I got caught when rejoining after avoiding a car at Becketts but I had to pick left or right and I went left. No problem.

The chase with Greg was fun and I was quicker through parts and slower through others so the gap was always quite close until I spun entering the Hangar Straight and he went past. After a couple of mistakes I was never going to catch anyone and was not going to be caught so I didn't fancy another half hour of solo running and retired, though the report showed I had suspension damage.
