Hi All,

As the end of the Sunday night British GT3 Series is fast approaching I thought I would let everyone know the plan for the forthcoming V8 Supercar series.

After the current series comes to an end I will be hosting a few fun races (a bit of LMP1, GT2 and maybe something else) before the V8 Supercar series.
I have been busy scouring the interweb for AC versions of the circuits used. Below is a list of the race calendar and links to the tracks I have found, I have not tried racing on all of them yet or whether they will work on the server. If anyone knows of any tracks for the missing ones or better versions of the ones I have found please shout out. I will be trying them out over the next few weeks:

Adelaide 500 Adelaide Street Circuit, SA http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/adelaide-clipsal-500-2011-by-tewie-and-rainmaker.4922/(tested ok to use but walls a bit dodgy, may use Adelaide f1 track)

2018 Formula 1®  Rolex Australian Grand Prix Albert Park, VIC (https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/melbourne-grand-prix-circuit.2498/) (tested, works ok)

Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint Symmons Plains Raceway, TAS (https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/symmons-plains.8932/ tested and ok to use)

WD-40 Phillip Island 500 Phillip Island Circuit, VIC (https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/phillip-island.8816/reviews) tested and ok to use

Perth SuperSprint Barbagallo Raceway, http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/barbagallo-raceway.4407/reviews(tested and ok to use)

Winton SuperSprint Winton Motor Raceway (http://www.mediafire.com/file/ni41tb74ykzswk2/winton.rar)
(tested and ok to use)

CrownBet Darwin Triple Crown  Hidden Valley Raceway, (https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21ALNWKQFhSux7UI4&id=E133082BACCAFA73%2141935&cid=E133082BACCAFA73)(tested, ok to use, but only 16 pit garages)

Watpac Townsville 400 street track, QLD (http://www.mediafire.com/file/bxrvc8gulddpyd5/ac_FVRTownsville+v0.8+%2807Feb15%29.rar) (track ok offline, but not on server)

Coates Hire Ipswich SuperSprint Queensland Raceway, QLD (http://acmods.net/tracks/queensland-raceway/) (track works on the server)

Red Rooster Sydney SuperNight 300 Sydney Motorsport Park, NSW http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/eastern-creek-raceway-2014.4786/ (we have already used)

The Bend SuperSprint The Bend Motorsport Park, (track is still being built in real life!)

Sandown 500 Sandown Raceway, VIC (https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/sandown-raceway.18702/) (track works ok online)

Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 Mount Panorama, NSW (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/bathurst.8677/) (we have used this track before)

Vodafone Gold Coast 600 Surfers Paradise, QLD (http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=44537)

ITM Auckland SuperSprint Pukekohe Park Raceway, (http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=44434)

Coates Hire Newcastle 500 Newcastle, NSW (I cant find a version of this, I may replace with the Sydney Olympic park circuit)

This is going to be tough! It feels like they race these cars on tracks that are almost kart tracks, they are tight and short!

Didnt realise there was so many events! Will this be weekly or biweekly?

I've been watching the V8's for years religiously, Always good - sometimes outright epic  Grin

Will we be running this series with the ability to choose skins/paint jobs? Given the field it would be almost silly not to - and I quite like Caruso's Castrol paint job from this season, If that hasn't been made yet then I seem to remember the job from last years retro-round at Sandown is available.

It will be Bi-weekly, same format as at the moment, AC and R3E series running at the same time

People will be able to reserve skins if they want to

Oohh boy. I did like these cars the last two test races. Maybe running all tracks is a bit much for most people, so better to cherry pick the best modded tracks?

If possible i would like to run the no. 5 Ford Falcon for this series.

I loved racing this car in the test raced we did. I'm definitely in!!! If possible I'd like to reserve Scott McLaughlin's #17 Ford.

I recall the Adelaide track we used had a sticky walls issue. Not sure if you should use that one for this series.

I made a race compilation of the Barbagallo round because it was such a fun race. And i won. Grin

The track link for the Sandown circuit has been changed as the version I had originally chosen wasn't working properly

A quick update on preparations for the V8 Supercars series.

I have nearly finished checking the tracks on the server, the first post in this thread has been updated with info on each track. I am hoping to get the series up and running In the next few weeks, should have some concrete info over the weekend.
