Seems a shame Kunos did a half arse job with this car as it’s a lovely car in real life. The tyre problem seems the same as the 962 so wondering what other cars it affects. Anyone reported it to Kunos?
I got the meds to work at VIR but it was pretty dicey for last few laps on the tyre carcass  Tongue

I'm still not convinced this is a bug - both cars are endurance racers so would spend nearly their entire life on hards.
Soft would be for qualifying.
Meds are for filling gaps in the strategy - and in the case of the 962 they were probably qualifying tires for the Nords....

Why would any race team choose a strategy that gives and extra second a lap but requires considerably more time in the pits? Remember pit stops in GT racing are strictly controlled in terms of pit crew and tires are done before or after the fuel, not during.


Expect me to be slow today - instead of practicing this week I've been building a DIY sequential shifter as my G25 gearstick has given up the ghost in sequential mode.
If I kept using it I'd end up killing the H pattern and driving with paddles in VR is very hard for me as I naturally reach for the gear lever in front of me wacko
Looking forward to seeing how well my bodge works - if it's good then I'll be turning some aluminium offcuts into a proper shifter and adding a load more buttons to it over the next few weeks/months Grin

After start a massive microfreezez occur in first laps. This track is not ready for champs. Bad combo, bad track surface.
Jeff, in this car we needs only good flat track surfaces! Watkins Glenn will be good here!  Smiley

I retired Alex.  Sad I really wasn’t enjoying this combo and just couldn’t face another 20 minutes of dragging this clumsy ill handling car about. It just felt like it lurched from corner to corner and had the damping of a house brick.
Could have kept going for a possible 3rd but I was 15 secs behind the front two and Alex/spanner were 6 secs behind so I began thinking how much I wasnt enjoying it and started dropping 2-3 secs a lap until I retired  the car.
Sorry guys just not doing it for me especially with such small turnouts  Sad

Hmm. Felt i was the only one in control through that! With Apex not able to find the apexes when i was behind him and then Alexis also looking out of control at times. Going in side by side into the kink before the righthander i was expecting a bit more room given, hitting the side of Alexey and dropping to the back. Enjoyed driving it, from then trying to chase down Apex and reclaim something.

Yeah, Mark... I saw you in left side, but i was in more speeding line, trying to free more space to you but may be not enough.. Sorry for that. Smiley
I thinked else that you should use a gas off a bit when approaching to speed corner from lower performance direction..

Car was very unstable in this session. Too slippery and unpredictable. IMHO- it was an assetto corsa phisics process drops due bad track optimization ( "phisics late" parameter in AC game) May be i need a more cool CPU than old and wise 2600k @4500. But it's brings a lot of CRAZY fun.  I think it was a joke race for me in the end  Cheesy
