Just had a few practice laps and it appears the cars won't complete a 30 minute race without a stop for fuel Maybe server can be set to x 0.5 fuel? I'm not sure

Good point, assumed fuel would be ok. Can't test it because the server isbroken, it says "registration verification failed" and I can't get at the email it sends to complete the verification.
Can you help Pete?

Looks to me like the RaceRoom servers are having problems at the moment.

Working now. not an option in the web page to set fuel to 0.5, the only option is to turn fuel use off So I have. It might be possible with some exotic commands to change fuel useage but for now, off will do.

Well that was good fun I thought. Sorry for the start, kept trying to change gear, and not happening somehow then spun into someone. I was running low wing, about 2 -5 I think. and the option tyres, which seemed softer, not sure really no time for lots of testing. Front left was flashing red, and the other three flashing orange at the end.

Not sure that was my win to have. Couldn't get it off the line, half throttle as I had no clue what it'd do (really, I wasn't entirely ready... ) sorry gents. When I did get into a race, I made a complete Horlicks of it. Tudor eventually retreated to a safe distance, giving me the win. It was great alone on track but I don't trust myself, around others. Sorry again all. Grats Tudor, Mark and all.

Found the cars pretty good to race, not as manic as some open wheelers. Discovered the option tyres just in time to grab poll in quali and decided to try them in race. Great for 15 minutes then they fell off dramatically and by the end was like driving on jelly. I ran wide trying to turn in at the bottom of the back straight a couple of times and received a slow down at the final turn which nearly caught out Eck.....sorry mate wasn't trying to back you up there. Had a nice battle for a few laps but by that time my tyres were shot and by the end I had no chance of catching you. Biggest issue with these cars really is the fuel consumption.....can't believe that real life indy/champ cars have such a small range

Yep, does seem odd. I will look into it. A series with these would be quite good I think. I hit walls a few times, and damage was not particularly worse than in a tin top and I had left all the server setting as normal, except fuel.
Any ideas for next week?
SO far I am leaning towards series for these or LMP1, and The Gr5 + GTO with some cars removed.
The default if no one has any lurve for the US or LMP1 would be a series for Gr5/GTO and one for DTM92/Touring Classics

Tried dropping the wing, but clearly by not enough. Prime tyres last well, but was definitely suffering from a touch of understeer in the slow corners.
Cars felt quite easy to drive, but will have to see when dropping the wing more. Certainly felt easier than the GP2 car.
Its the closing speeds between people that was a touch scary at times, some corners I was considerably faster in on my own. Would enjoy either this or the LMP1 personally, have never got on with the GTO's
