This server should also not be passworded, but if it is, try the normal traning password.

For future reference, only practice servers that have succesballast need a password, otherwise it's better to remain open for everyone.

Those of you who haven't tried these yet really need to - they're just so much fun Grin
They're also a little odd as their performance is the opposite of the 962's offline - I always found the Porsches slower as I practiced on a colder track, the Ferrari's are actually quicker in the cold!
It's taken quite a while for me to twig that the default setup is actually closer to the ideal than the one I'd developed off line Roll Eyes

I seem to have good pace again so am really looking forward to the race provided I can keep it on the black stuff!

I have to agree. This 250 GTO is really good fun! Reminds me of the good old Power & Glory times.

Huh Default set up abysmal, room like a furnace, rift steamed up, could not see where I was going, first race back for a while, a disaster.

Got disconnected. Thanks for the setup as the car was undriveable on the default, but alas the universe did not want me to complete the race.

I found the default setup to be drivable with extreme care. I don't do extreme care well.... so stiffened the front
and with practice it wasn't too bad. got distracted by cars going off in front, and rammed the fence hard enough
to bend the steering, couldn't face a long wait in the pits so quit.

Not a stunning run, but here's me not hitting any fences for real at a sprint here last year:

Was a good quali for, 5th, a bit slower than the practice, but I was a bit unfocused and the others ahead me was really fast.
Start, I was so absorbed from the cars that I forgot totally the first stack, try to avoid FMG and I'm going on the grass. I lost all positions.
Come back furious, I had a little hit to poor Alessandro (sorry dude), totally misunderstand the stack at last corner, I saw a windonw where was impossible to overtake.
Just lap after I hit gently Stefan, but was totally unavoidable because I'm exit at the same corner and I haven't brakes to avoid the hit, sorry again
I did at last 2 or 3 good overtakes, and luck help my at last lap with felix: I thought that you had fuel problem, was pity! Finish 6th

Mine is the green car with the GB sticker Wink
In think it was Manteos who slid to the outside in T1 - I started outside and ended up in front of him after a good launch.

Couldn't believe my luck when the leader washed out at the end of lap 1 and gifted me the lead,  was really hoping that the 2 fast cars behind me would then fight and hold each other up.
Sadly they didn't.
My race then went really well for the first 20 mins with me able to control things from the front, but after that I started to struggle a bit. I was getting too hot and eventually the rift started to lightly fog, that caused a few mistakes that knocked my lead right down - then I made an unforced error into St. Marys and put 2 wheels in the dirt.
I rejoined in time to be passed but could stay close - too close as I lost control slightly under braking at the end of the next lap while trying to avoid the back of the leader,  only just rejoined ahead of Manteos.
It looked good for the remainder of the race as I'd got my fogging under control by then, but I made another unforced error with about 2 laps to go into turn 1.
That let Manteos through and I didn't have time to come back at him Sad

Oh well, an awesome fun race and it was good to see I have front row pace in these - all those years in the Nissan has payed off.
Well done winners and finishers, can't wait for the next round!

Also how the hell are you lot driving these so straight? It feels utterly unnatural I tell you!  Grin

What  an Exciting race yesterday!

QUALIFYING SESSION
with new tyres and 20 liters I was in trouble due to an excessive oversteer. Luckily I gained the pole position but only because Matteo and FMG don't do their best.

RACE SESSION
After a good start I had a strange behaviour while braking during the first lap, so I've lost 2 positions.

My pace was good and lap by lap I've gained some seconds to my opponents. Matteo made a mistake so I gained the second position and then after doing some pressure to FMG I've overtook him.

Lap by lap my pace was slightly better than FMG and Matteo, I've gained 5 seconds, and I won.

Congratulation for the fairness and I can't wait for the next race. See you at Bridgehampton

Back in english land with italian car, after a lot of time.

i've lapped a lot for having a good race pace.
Qualy: i couldn't do my best and i get the 8th position.

Race: with a very good start and a little bit of fortune, after half lap i was in 5th position. But the mistakes arrived, and i lost a lot of positions.
Then , fully concentrated, i've tried to escape my best. very good chase with armando, that using mine misunderstood with blue flag, catch and pass me during the last laps. Good job mate! Next time i'll be more carrefull!!

Funny and eventfull race.

see you in bridgehampton.
