Is this using paddles or H-Shift?
Is h shift ACT lab.Now i have the new wheel,a fanatec. With this one i must use Fairshift program because with GPLshift i have not found the way to work.I don't know if is a server problem.Could you check if there was something in common with Mexico?
This time no incidents.....it was obvious i did my race alone Smiley

Do you have any other sims to try it on to make sure that the H-Shift is working properly?

I would suspect the micro-switch on the 5th gear position.

Don't see how it can be a server issue.

Do none of the cars with 5 gears work properly?  How about something with 6 gears?  Didn't the '65 Honda have six?

But seem wrong the result or was wrong my Pribluda?Fullmetalgasket was behind me of one lap,so say my Pribluda.

Tim started from the pits so Prib would have been wrong.

Yes he did so his first lap was ignored by the lap counter because his pit stall was after the start line.  I checked the replay and manually updated the results. The table is correct.

That was a fantastic race and just to put the icing on the cake, I won!

Wonder when my last UKGPL win was?

A big thank you to Sam for his setup from last season.  It was amazing!  You just had to point it!

Another big thank you to Fran, for spotting in his mirrors that I was following Bastian and for giving me the room to pass.

Then finally thank you to Bastian, Evil and Doni, the people that figured in my race, for their excellent driving.  45 laps and not a scratch!

I suppose that I should thank Mercedes for the grunt in their engine that took me across the line just a gnat's nadger in front of Bastian.  Sorry about that Bastian.

Tim is keeping up a good score rate in the Gordini and will have a fortune in Thornton Dollars by the end of the season!

Not sure what happened to Evil.  He just went off in T1 in a cloud of tyre smoke when there was nobody near him.

When i play not online all work correctly. The last race at Mosport was with BRM with 6 gear and i have had no problem.
My exit from the race of yesterday was to check the game not online. The Lancia at Indy was right but when i came back online the 5th gear was out.Another time with the same issue was a fun race at Monza with the Canam66.In this case only 2 gear ,after the exit,i choose a car with only 2 gear that in the Canam exist.Seem that i choose a car in Igor but into the game is another with different number of gear.Perhaps is better to say that the car appear correct but the gear box not.Is also true that until i used GPLshifter this problem was unknown.

What happens if you select the car in GEM?  That might enable the H-Shift software and GPL to be synchronised.

Cannot say that i am not dissapointed.
I would have more liked to lose with 1 Second than 0.01.

But a great drive and nice fights with Clive and evil.
I'm not sure being involved with the End of John's race, if there was contact i am very sorry.

Deserved win for clive after all, i was using the setup you gave me after last year's race.

I was meaning that you should start in GEM and select your car at that point.  Then go to iGOR to join the server.

You could also try to select your car in GEM and then go to GPL and join the server via its IP address.

Congratulations Clive, the first win since your comeback and well deserved, although Bastian made it a close run thing. Shocked

I am still kicking myself for throwing away what was a safe 3rd place finish. I actually used a qualifying setup, which I normally don't bother with, just to try and get near the front of the grid and the faster cars. Slipstreaming around IMS is a must and I was hoping to attach a tow rope and get dragged along.
The Maserati 250F is a nice car to drive, but just lacks the outright grunt to bother the Merc or the Lancia and there were a couple of Ferraris giving me problems in the early laps too. John suffered contact with the wall and dropped out of the leading group leaving Bastian, Clive and Doni + me.
Bastian then paused to inspect the concrete wall and an unhassled Clive was in danger of escaping. Until then I had been happy to sit in 3rd and watch and wait.

Clive raised the pace and a small gap to grew between him and Doni. Sorry Doni, but I had to make the pass and chase after the leader before that gap grew too big. Fortunately I hooked up the tow again and slowly closed down on Clive just as a recovering Bastian brought his Lancia back to the battle. Doni appeared to lose a little ground and so it was a 3 car group going into the second half of the race.

I wanted to sit back and enjoy the slipstream, but Bastian and Clive continually disputed who had the right to which corner and compromised their pace. I was forced into making a pass on several occasions when their corner speeds dropped so much that I was in danger of having to lift or brake ( or rear end someone!!), something that the setup did not like, so I simply ran through on the inside line and allowed them to use their power to retake the position later.
Without one of them making a big mistake I just did think that I had the power to outdrag them to the line on the final lap, but I thought I would give it a trial run with about 15 laps to go just to see if it was possible. So I stuck my car down the inside at T3. I held a tight entry to T4 and gave it max beans.......bad move.
The car slid just a little too much and I clouted the wall on the exit ( the first contact with the concrete up to that point!) everything felt fine until I got to T1, where whatever damage I had sustained snapped the car to the left as I turned in and then back to the right and straight into the outside wall.........ouch!!!!
Like I said, if i had been content just to sit and wait I would have been towed along to a comfortable 3rd, but the lure of poaching extra positions in a last lap swoop proved too much.  Undecided

Thank you.

For my part, I was trying to figure out where I needed to be in front in order to be first across the line.  After your demise, I had settled for passing Bastian on the back straight on the last lap but we had encountered Fran on the lap before.  This dropped me back too far for that to happen.  Bastian judged correctly that he could take his normal line into turn three, despite knowing that I was on a tighter line.

Thankfully, Sam's Merc setup was superb, in that it allowed me to go through turns two and four without a lift.  I slipstreamed Bastian for the last lap and was committed to keeping my right foot planted in turn four, irrespective of how close he might be.  A little more slipstream down the home straight did it.  Just!!!

It's a good job that we have GPL to tell us who won because I've looked at the photo-finish and we could debate that one until the cows come home as to who is in the front!

Perhaps we could try my server this evening to see if that gives the same result?

I find it difficult to understand how the server could have this effect.
