This is changed from Chang, as we've only just done that and I hadn't realised This event in 1992 was actually Avus, but there is nothing like Avus in R3E, so I chose this to replace it.

I got that with a bit of a bump n run, that may need looking at. Sorry for the start Geoff, nearly walled you... StockCar stylee. I may need to start from the back with Dieter... Geoff was so much faster in the middle sector (all the twisties), I put that lardy Mustang rear, to good use. poteva essere una bella gara combattuta, ma non si vince tamponado all'ultima curva I agree, I've dobbed myself in....

My most satisfying race ever! Only lapped once, 3 cut track warnings, no trips into kitty litter, and new PBs in qualifying and race!!

Also not far behind the main pack, and towards the end they must have started to hold eachother up because I was getting closer each lap. Then I saw Geoff in the gravel and Mark going slowly - must have been an incident, and hence lucked me into a podium. Super race as always, thanks all. Congrats Eck and Riccardo, and Bill!

Never been in a position before where a quick Italian was holding us all up Been a while since there's been a group so close. I seemed to be able close up to Geoff relatively easily but the speed difference between the top 3 was small so tried looking a few times but never really seemed on. I think Geoff cottoned onto my line in the hairpin a few times so couldn't really get any run. But towards the end everyone was just jostling with each other so every lap seemed to be different in terms of lines taken and not being able to fully see what's going on ahead hit the back of Geoff, carrying a little too much speed in. Sorry. Shame as it broke the group up. Shame Eck left it till the last lap to overtake doing it earlier would have helped all of us! But close racing, good grid, good to see! How long ago did we run these, couldn't remember what car I took before!

Hehe. It's a 3 week series, so unless I messed up it was 3 weeks ago.

Really excellent race, four of us nose to tail for much of it. M3 was great through the twisty section but could never get close enough in a hard braking zone to attempt an overtake on Eck's Mustang, all the while keeping an eye on Spanner trying to find a way past me. Unfortunate ending though when I had to brake hard to avoid running into the back of Eck (still gave him a slight bump!) & Spanner ran into the back of me. Caught the resultant slide but the car snapped back the other way & I went gardening. Congrats to the podium cya all for the 935s at Oschersleben.
