(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Server: Simracing.org.uk GT3

Practice: 20:00 (30 mins)
Qual: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race: 20:45 (40mins)

Cars allowed: GT3
Track: Brands Hatch Indy
Time of Day Setting: 13:00
Weather: Dry

Start: Rolling start
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: None required

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.
(5) Start procedure
*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap
(6) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

This is posted as a general reminder to all drivers and is not directly aimed at anyone in particular in this race or in previous races.

As gentlemen drivers it is an unwritten rule in sim-racing that if you knowingly cause an incident which adversely affects a fellow driver you should allow the victim to regain his place in front off you.

It should also be remembered that our rules do state this "Where a driver believes they are at fault for an incident, they may elect to impose a drive through penalty on themselves by entering the pitlane and driving the full distance down it at the speed limit without stopping at their garage for any work to be performed.
Such a drive through must be performed within a reasonable time after the incident, the rule of thumb being 3 laps.
A self-imposed drive through should be reported to the series moderator along with the incident, and will under most circumstances reduce or eliminate any positional penalty."

My T300 desk clamp has finally given up, the threads are damaged and it wobbles too much but have managed for the last week or so, after a few goes to catch it right and tighten it up. After 10 minutes of trying tonight i cant get it to tighten up enough.

Looks like i wont be driving for at least a week now.

Grats to the podium finishers (the only finishers...)

Had some fun, but also had a couple of spins - the second time getting stuck against a small barrier and had to quit. Damn.

Congrats podium.

Good race for me, marred by shoving Eck off into Paddock, after following close for a few laps.  hang
Was surprised to not be slowest for a change, so, that part was enjoyable at least.  Embarrassed

Not enjoying this car. Again after about 20 mins I suddenly lost loads of front end grip losing 2 secs a lap compared to the laps before.

Sorry I couldn't make it more difficult for you Matt after you caught me up.

I am not very familiar with the T300, does it have threaded inserts underneath for a more permanent fit (like a G27)? if so as a temporary solution you could use these to mount to a piece of wood (that is wider than the wheel base) then use G-clamps to secure the wood to the desk?

Not as exciting as the last race at Zandvoort, just didn't have the pace in the Bentley. Made a couple of mistakes on the first couple of laps which let Dieter & Pete past, regained some places when others made mistakes but didn't want to be a roadblock so just ran wide & let people past when they caught me.

Congrats to Matt & Pete  clap clap, bad luck to Eck & Dieter.
