Personally, on principal I don't like changing a championship once it's started, so I would say no, as you sign up based on the original info. You maybe in with a championship shout and you planned holiday when the final two rounds are or something like that and therefore you lose out cause you can't attend when you would have done based on the original info.

Personally, I'm happy for another two rounds as the cars have been better than expected, but really, do we care about round numbers? It's just a number. You are being 8ist by saying 10 is better than 8 just cause it's 10. I shall report you to the number police! Wink angel Tongue

not fussed at all about round numbers, more looking at just extending what has been a great (and popular!)  series.  We all crave healthy grids and close racing.  Smiley  Plus I haven't had a chance to think ahead to what classic series to run yet  Wink  I know some individual choices for classic events but a series takes more thought. It can go very successfully like the Lotus 25, 962's and 911 RSR's or horribly wrong like the 250GTO with low numbers (still don't know why that wasn't more popular?!)

Get what you say though Simon about championship standings, which was also my concern, hence asking general opinion.  Smiley

Re Hockenheim, yes could use the full track. In early days setting this one up I (wrongly) assumed these would be better on the smaller configs of tracks but Brands, Nürburgring and Zandvoort changed that opinion.
Donington and A1-Ring could be a nice pair of tracks if we do run two extra rounds.

additional IMPORTANT post!  Grin
Compared to TCR Equal cars best choice for next modern series might to be Lotus EvoraGX or GTC cars. Very similar drive sense due wider tyres, well planted, good slippery sense and VERY fun to drive like in TCR. Very good brutal engine sound.
BUT setup is full here and need to be PARTYALLY fixed ( too much parameters)
It's very easy organize by server. Needs only for Jeff, (for example)  will make this easy-sh setup.  Smiley
Mark, do not forget this my post!  Cool

Right this is the top 10 as it stands. Only Simon has kind of said no to extending the series. I am a little torn as half of me feels like we've got enough racing out of this and that it should stay at 8 rounds, but also quite wanting to extend the great racing and healthy grid its created.  Undecided  But overall inclined to call it a day with what we've got and start a new campaign.

I would say if the people fighting for championship are happy to extend it and if the majority are in favour then extend it and gives you more time to work out the next series maybe with some test events on different days whilst the tcr series continues?

In my opinion, we can extend the series or also do another new TCR series, or anything else you want.
Just have some historical things in parallel.  Cheesy

If I understand well, they are only used on Wednesday and Sunday to race, right? Days that are already occupied by the TCR and the V8 (not every Sunday).
Is there a precise reason for this? In the other days the server is dedicated for other things? Sorry for the questions a bit trivial, but I'm not a great server expert.  angel

It's because we have multiple series on multiple games Fabri - quite a few guys race in more than one series so we don't like to overlap.

Currently we have a spare Sunday slot going, but based on the take up of sunday fun races I think it would be better for that to feature a know crown pleaser/puller than a one off race with only 4 or 5 drivers willing to try out something unknown..

My preference would be to keep it at 8 rounds and continue the format with classic cars. I think the Alfa GTA would be suitable for that and maybe we can find mod cars that can match it. Would be epic if there was a nippy car like the Mini and a yank-tank, like the good old GTL days.

We should test the Alfa GTA against the Fulvia, the Abarth TC1000 and the old Mustang then.

Yeah i think i'll keep it 8 rounds, its been a blast but we can always run another series later on as British track TCR series etc and maybe Baikal will have got the new improved TCR car sorted for it then.  Smiley

Trust me, a skin packed grid of Alfa GTA's looks great, is also real fun and good close racing. But other options are available Wink

in my experience the gaps will be bigger cause you have to drive classic cars in a alien way to get them to go quickly.
