i like the sound of the paddle shift delayer. In real life i drive both a manual gearbox and pdk shift (with manual over-ride) porkers on trackdays and without doubt the pdk paddle shift is faster. Before i could be talked into one i asked numerous track drivers about it (including an ex F1-tester!) and they all said they'd choose paddle over stick for track shifting everytime. Just not having to take your hands off the wheel in corners and chicanes makes a huge difference, yet alone the gear change itself.

I love using manual shift in AC for the classics, just makes it so much more immersive to me.

I don't think there is a huge speed difference in paddles vs H-Pattern, I think paddles is just more consistent and easy and using 3rd party software to get rid of the paddles penalty is cheating IMO.

If you want to use the DTM cars, why not try that ballast that somebody posted here?
