Is the practice server still up and running Tony? I visited the lobby this p.m. and could not see the Goodwood race there?

Server showed it as running but it wasn't in the lobby so I have re-started it. Should be ok now. |

Tony, could the modified cars be added to the Le Mans installation we used this year, so I wouldn't have to start from scratch with a new one ?

Yes but delete the reference to the LMCS in the SIM_GTC.gdb file or you will get miss match messages. |

Well, I figured out the cause of the dizziness. It's the seat I'm using now. A couple of weeks ago I fell through the one I had been using for ages (too bad there's no video of that, it was hilarious) and I just grabbed another one without giving it any thought. But I finally noticed that my position just isn't right and I checked and it turns out the other seat is almost 10cm (4") higher than the old one. My old brain can't seem to adjust to that and it's not really optimal anyway to look down instead of straight. So I got to find a seat with approximately the same height of the seat as before. That shouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that everything is closed next week. So it's unlikely I'll be able to participate in this race yet. If so, feel free to reassign the car I got alloted when needed.

Can you not temporarily raise your monitor? Anyway, I'll keep your car for you, in case you change your mind. In the UK everything is open for after-Christmas sales.  |

 Yep, it's me, my excuse is that it was only my 3rd ever lap round the circuit. Was scared of "no name" and messed up the gears. "Must try harder" More excuses? well it is on the south coast, and I drove the car there from Manchester and wanted to be able to drive back afterwards.....

Was that your friend that I met at Castle Combe? Hope that he is recovered from the trauma. Not exactly what he would have been expecting when he applied the brakes!!! and to think that we complain when we slightly misjudge a braking point in GTL ?? |

Hi Tony, Merry Christmas,
I just noticed that of the two cars left one is the Aston Martin. Probably not tje car to win this Xmas special but a historically interesting one. As we have 7 GTOs on the grid and only one Aston MartinI'd glady swap my GTO for the Aston for variety's sake.
Please let me know if you like the idea.
