(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page
Server: Simracing.org.uk

Password: see above

Practice: 19:45 (30 mins)
Qual 2: 20:15 (15 mins)
Race: 20:30 (30 mins)

Cars allowed
: Gr5 Fabcar
Track: Slovakia Ring
Time of Day Setting: 13:00
Weather: Dry

Start: Standing
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: None required

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the relevant Track Packs for this series
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

This is the final race of this series
Picnic is leading, but Riccardo could win, as could Frex and Eck with luck and a following wind...

Still undecided about next series, I like the new 1995 Merc DTM car, so unless someone argues
that will be one series. I would like to keep either DTM92 or Touring Classics alive, and maybe
Gr5, or GTO. I like the BMW M1 procar, but we had a lot of complaints about that last time
I tried to run them. I would like to run a 6 event series of them though.

If I am running a Merc 1995 series, then maybe DTM92 may not work?
A porka series would be good, not sure which variant would work though.

Here's a real change, I'll put my vote to the M1. I too like the car...

The DTM 95 car was amazing when i first drove it. almost like a modern DTM, well planted loads of grip.

That sounds like the antithesis to what I like..! But nevertheless, happy to give it a try. I also enjoyed the BMW M1 when we ran it before, so happy with that one too. We've had a lot of Gr5 this season, so maybe not those this time, but not really fussed.

I have tried the DTM1995 Merc at a few tracks, and it is easier to drive at some places than others.
Anything with a brow, like Race Room circuit "bridge" will catch it out. The back end is quite loose
but, it has traction control, so you can dial out some of the power slides well enough.
It handles sort of like one of the Gr5 cars with a bit less power. I like it anyways. Have to choose
the tracks for it carefully, or there will be dissatisfied customers.  Shocked

Also like the M1 procar. Just the 3rd series to choose. Dtm92 or Gr5?

If DTM 1995 Merc is less powerful than Group 5 I shall race in a Series Matt.  Cool

This is posted as a general reminder to all drivers and is not directly aimed at anyone in particular in this race or in previous races.

As gentlemen drivers it is an unwritten rule in sim-racing that if you knowingly cause an incident which adversely affects a fellow driver you should allow the victim to regain his place in front off you.

It should also be remembered that our rules do state this "Where a driver believes they are at fault for an incident, they may elect to impose a drive through penalty on themselves by entering the pitlane and driving the full distance down it at the speed limit without stopping at their garage for any work to be performed.
Such a drive through must be performed within a reasonable time after the incident, the rule of thumb being 3 laps.
A self-imposed drive through should be reported to the series moderator along with the incident, and will under most circumstances reduce or eliminate any positional penalty."

Guys.

I am at the mercy of Northern Rail tonight. I will be back for the race unless a train breaks down
but I may not be back in time to restart the server at 19:45
SO.......either can someone join at 19:45, and not before. or.. can someone restart the server at ~19:45
and then join to make sure the practice session clock start for the full 30 mins?
