That was really disappointing Riccardo, we all sat there and you never appeared. Shame it spoilt what could have been an exciting last race.

Mind you if the importer never works again it'll all be academic anyway!

Was having a bit of a mare whenever I got close to Geoff and fell off a couple of times. The first to let Dieter through. He was quicker than everyone else and would have given you a hard time Riccardo. However I think he slowed to let Geoff catch up so he could have some fun. Geoff then drifted wide in the last turn and let me through and after a couple more laps Dieter made a small mistake and I got along side in the tight left hand chicane about 4 corners from the end of the lap. I gave him room through the right hander where I fully expected to be out driven but Dieter very graciously backed out and gave me the corner. He was much quicker than me and deserved the win tonight but I couldn't even give it to him out of the last turn  Roll Eyes Nice racing all.

Not sure why you couldn't see the server Bill. Does RRE have filters or levels which means you couldn't see it?

I spent 15 minutes looking for server running up and down the list without success. Normally I have no problem!  Cry

There is a search box to the right of the server list, put org.uk in there and it should appear. Then highlight it and add to favourites. Sadly each RRE update seems to forget your favourites so you have to repeat the process each time. Doing this the server always appears at the top of the list

The importer works fine. I just used the wrong file for Norisring. I will need to delete the Norisring event
and create a new one, then enter the correct file (I think)
There was only one missing file that I know of, and that was the week we changed server.
They should all be on the server itself, and normally it exports the file to my ftp server.

The box said "Windows 2000 server or better" So I installed Solaris

Sorry to hear Riccardo got kicked and Bill couldn't get on. There were 6 drivers on when I joined, but somehow that got whittled down to just 3 of us running at the end, which was a shame.

Really enjoyed trying the Fabcar; I'll miss it next season if we don't run it again. Congrats Pete for the Championship!

Actually there were very nearly only 2 of you at the end, I was very close to quitting mid-race when I understeered off track 3 times in one lap. I have always struggled before with slick tyred cars in both GTL & P&G with understeer & it seems the same in R3E, it must be the way I set them up. Guess I will get it sorted eventually.

Early laps were fun, but Dieter & Pete were clearly faster, so I let Dieter past & was about to let Pete past when I braked too late at the final RHer & went off.

Congrats to Pete on winning the championship  clap & bad luck to Riccardo for getting ejected  Angry

Well done Pete  I Am Not Worthy
I am not intending to run the FabCar next series, but I expect it will come out of the garage again in the future.  Roll Eyes

I'm sorry I didn't make it gents. Knowing I'd be out most of the day, I'd done all my prep on Wednesday. I still didn't make it home anywhere near start time.

Nice one Pete, well deserved.
