Damn, is the gearing on the Elan adjustable then?
The E-Type gearing was fixed, barely used 4th gear.  Shocked

Bloody hell I seriously dunno if I should say this Sharky-n00b Wink, buttah, have u tried clicking on the final gear ratio thingy? Tongue I'm pwetty sure I saw some movement in that graph beneath it.

Yeah, tried the individual gears and the final ratio, wouldn't budge.  :'(

Just tried it offline and the final ratio does move but only up from the setting I had it on, so that'll be why i didnt think it moved cause I only wanted it to go down.  Cool Tongue

That was the problem Simon - bty reverting to the default setup the gears were not at their lowest setting, which meant I needed 1st at Druids. It also just made the understeer worse, which was the real problem - I couldn't steer the car on the throttle, which made it slow AND dull. Had I been up the front I might have hung around, but being at the back there seemed little point.

Last night I was the slowest in practise. I really have to remember not to drink too much when I have to race Grin
