Yep, lots of freezes....
Other than that it was superb fun. Qualified towards the back, but was putting in some solid laps. Had a good bit of track to myself before we had a 4-car train for a while, and then after a mistake by me (and probably really peeing off the leaders) I had to catch up again. Ended up having a cracking battle with Don, but I just could not get past him! With the top 6-7 drivers coming round behind us and past us, it was a close run thing with Don running out the winner between the two of us. We might have traded paint, but nothing serious.
Probably the most fun I've had with you guys so thanks again.

Just got back from work, turned the PC on and joined, with just 10 minutes to go and no practice. Got 2nd, was happy with that. Race all went well, Peter was faster, so i settled with 2nd. Oh no, not second, because Minton had a super start . I think he forgot about the rolling start, and had in-car chat off, because he didn't reply. I think he was gutted to see us overtake him eventually after having a huge lead . Then the inevitable came....backmarkers. After a mistake from Peter, I was in 1st, trying to keep there. But then again, a backmarker spun infront of me. Don't care who, why or when, it just happened again. This time it cost me the lead, which was a pain (cost me the won-all-TC65-races straight ). Not gonna report, not gonna bother, just a shame really. Finished 2nd which is good for the championship. Lot's of freezes, huge pings (4000). Very weird. Edit: Lol, just saw your post Adam. Do I look so scary in-car . Next time I see you, I'm gonna take a huge bow around you . Haha, what went on in your head Minton...lol. Whoohoo, super start But what wis all the chatting. I think it were the new Ghostspeed guys mostly. But just to make it clear: no chatting during qually or race please.

There were some freezes, pings were very good. Just shows up some problems with the online code and internet, not much you can do about it. ALL SimRacing league championship events are rolling starts! NO CHAT is allowed during the race! If you are having problems getting passed a back marker flash your lights, DO NOT send a CHAT out, it is VERY distracting to the other drivers.

Oh dear. That was going well for me, then all fell to pieces. Firstly, let me apologise to Tyf for the start! I thought I was in 6th, so when I was behind you in 7th on the rolling start lap, I thought "Zat cheeky penguin's got in front of me!" And I tried to get past.. What I should have realised was that Dan Minton jumped the start and was counted as being in the lead, so 7th was correct at that point.. Sorry! : After that I was in 5th,6th,7th places, and it was going well. Unfortunately I got distracted and went off at the high-speed right-hander, and dropped down a few, and then a few laps later, Jamera lagged in front of me, and his corpse left me nowhere to go but right into him. It shot me into an escape road, and rather than do the sensible thing and rejoin where I left, I carried on up the escape road - big mistake, as it got me a stop/go Dropped me back to 18th or so.. Oh, and also sorry to Locutos for the touch on the first corner - I was chasing penguins

Edit: Lol, just saw your post Adam. Do I look so scary in-car . Next time I see you, I'm gonna take a huge bow around you . LOL, must be - it happened in the NGT the other night ........ they say the third time is a charm. Maybe you could paint a bullseye on the front of you car? Hopefully it won't happen again ... I hate causing other drivers problems through my screw ups. How no-one else clipped me is beyond me. Just looking at my replay, can't even see your can to see exactly what happened, I think there was contact?

Replay and provisional results are up Interesting errors in the race data, were Greg130 and Paul W the main culprits for lagginess? Greg beat my GTR record of 3 race slots in the export! I've been flying online tonight and it was all messed up, voice comms was breaking up, got disconnected on several occasions. I wonder if the internet was simply having a bad hair day

I know it wasn't intentional, so that's why I won't report. Itc an happen. Just a shame it's me every time I saw you spin, so I had to brake hard to go passed, locking up. I think when I was aside you, your car, that was still going round, clipped me slightly, causing me to do a 180.

That was a great race, guys, thanks! Mondello is SUCH a hard track, wow. I was really impressed there were so few incidents (really none that I saw!). As usual I got fatigued past halfway and started making errors, but nothing really major. Spun off in front of someone passing me (Paul, was it??) when I got off line into the klag, but everwhere else it was really clean, fine racing.
No lag or frozen cars on my end, all worked very well. Sorry for the chat msgs, but I doofed in front of someone who tapped me (just a transfer of momentum) and wanted him to know it was my fault. PRibeiro just likes to be polite, hehe.
Grats to Pero, Ruskus, & PR -- what a nifty and well-deserving podium!
