Thanks Matt for organising this Series, a pity work keeps getting in the way of your attendance. A good evening’s racing with new PBs in qualifying and race.  Grin

Enjoyed that! Got lucky on the first lap when Pete was baulked by Geoffers, and got past them both before Eau Rouge. That gave me a good run down the straight and just about stayed ahead on the first lap. Surprised to stay in touch with the leaders as they battled amongst themselves, and then Eck made it interesting at the end by getting (I assume) a slowdown penalty (I hate those things..).

Congrats Riccardo and Eck, and Riccardo for the Championship!

That is what ended my race  Angry.  Got one on about the 5th or 6th lap, but yesterday's update changed the system, you now have 60s (I think?) to slowdown when you want rather than an automatic slowdown. Trouble was I didn't notice it until it was too late, I had to give 14s (?) back but only had 7s left to do it!  Roll Eyes. Pulled over thinking I would be DQed but got a drive through, had enough by then so gave up. Still not too happy in these cars, can put in the odd quick lap, but still very inconsistent & mistake prone & have yet to master getting them off the line.

Anyway congrats to the podium & Riccardo on winning the championship. clap thumbup2

I did indeed receive a slow down and yes, Wednesdays update made some new rules. Unfortunately its all messed up, the penalties bare no resemblance to the time you need to give up  Huh. Having seen Geoff's drive through penalty (yep, the game reported your flagrant disregard to everyone else  Tongue), I didn't want to suffer that wrath. But, instead of giving up my fractions of a second, I had to give up 3-4 seconds. real pita
