Ive figured out how Ruskus and Peter do it! Theyve got Mcphearson struts with a lowered tca to sycronise front to rear roll centres. True, that, and a V8

There were a heck of a lot of people in my mirrors weaving like mad though which isnt allowed in the rules, and is probably the reason for gaps everywhere at the back.
Perhaps you need to read the rules again... - No driver shall accelerate or brake hard during the formation lap.
Drivers are encouraged to weave left and right to warm their tyres, and to warm their brakes by dragging them whilst under power.

If every1 starts to be judge and jury on track we might as well dismiss the moderators!?
So report those incidents to the moderator.

Fair enough, and I realise that, but what about these sections (in bold): Formation laps shall be driven in single file. The leader shall maintain a moderate pace which allows all cars, including those in slower classes, to warm their tyres and brakes without struggling to stay in touch with the car in front. The leader should aim for a target speed on the straights of around: GTR: 75mph (120km/h) GTL: 50mph (80km/h) No driver shall accelerate or brake hard during the formation lap. Drivers are encouraged to weave left and right to warm their tyres, and to warm their brakes by dragging them whilst under power. During the formation lap, each driver is responsible for keeping a safe distance from the driver in front. Drivers should endeavour to avoid getting too far behind or to close to the driver in front. The leader shall not accelerate at the end of the formation lap until they cross the start line. Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver ahead does. The leader should maintain a steady pace out of the last corner until reaching the start line. Following drivers should attempt to form an orderly, single-file queue behind. If people are weaving around to an extent that they're too far behind, that's against the rules. Personally I'd be happier with something like 'no weaving at the end of the formation lap', but that'd negate the point of weaving during the rest of the lap, which makes next to naff-all differece to tyre temps anyway If that's not right then do correct me, I don't want to be assuming something works one way when it doesnt.

Well I had assumed that common sense would dictate that nobody should be weaving in the last couple of corners because they will disadvantage themselves. I think we've had problems with the TC-65 cars because they are just so incredibly slow.

I didn't flash because I thought it wasn't allowed. Like I care of there are 20 cars, or 21 cars in front of me. I flashed because I had to laugh . Not laughing at ya, but with ya ("lachte je niet uit, maar lachte met je mee" Dutch explanation). I was allowed to overtake you because of that mistake, but I stayed behind you, all because I didn't care about winning a position like that. Aah rt, would have laughed at myself as well I guess if I didn't feel so embarrassed, lol! T P.S. I will Dave, if I cba, don't worry

I wish someone would explain to me how the drivers at the front are doing those times and where I'm going wrong.
Lol. I was more than happy to almost be able to match your pace Greg

I got the 'real' Alfa GTA sounds from the No-grip site. It makes such a difference to the whiney Simbin sounds. There are also some Lotus Elan sounds on there too i think. Has anybody got some 'real' GT3 sounds for the Porsche in GTR ?...i have some sound clips from a real engine that sound way more racey and meaty but have no idea how they are converted into a soundbite for the game to use. I hate the whiney sound SImbin gave it. You would think for a race sim they would at least get the car engine notes right
