Bad luck Maurice, thought you might have been the Saleen I saw at the end. Race was ok but my pace just got slower and slower, more and more understeer. It's not that bad with the smaller class. Still only 1 off in the race, and that not my fault but an unfortunate by product of 1 fps problems.
Think Brno is particularly hard on the front tyres. I often set my fastest lap late in the race, but not at Brno. If Ruskus does one of his lap charts expect we'll see most drivers get slower & slower.

Tough break there Maurice, your pace deserved better. Well done to Jon, Paul and rest of podium (sorry didn't get third place). Well that race was deja vu all over again, amazing battle with Aagramn. Pipped him in quali only to find that I couldn't shake him in race yet again. Concentrating so hard on my mirrors, defensive strategy and not making any mistakes that lap times (pretty slow ) were irrelevant (proper racing I suppose), and I hoped it might relieve the pressure if Mark caught us up. Unfortunately, nothing could save me and after a couple of mistakes he deservedly squeezed past with a lap to go. Brilliant stuff to pressurise me for fully 40 minutes and I bet no-one worked so hard to gain one place, congrats. Hopefully you'll out quali me, and the roles will be reversed next time. I think our battle was systematic of the quality throughout the field, not just up top .

I feel a bit of a wally after that , I'd managed to put on steering assist for my practice yesterday and all my setups were rather twitchey! And it took me forever to work out why I was slower LOL Considering though, the race was pretty good. Qualified in 5th and was managing to keep up with the front-runners, great to have such close racing up at the front again! Managed to squeeze into 3rd behind Paul around Lap 13, then hit a double-shift into 1st not 2nd at turn 2 and couldn't quite hold it, went back to 5th. Not sure what happened to No25 but was catching him unusually fast and then he disco'd so finished 4th. Grats to Jon for a super-consistent drive at the front

Thx Guys I was surprised to win and be on pole because I only had about 5laps praccy.Luckily I had a good setup from last time here and just seemed to get back in the rhythm straight away. Had one scary moment in turn one with Paul I braked a bit early being worried about cold brakes so Paul closed up real fast and just kissed my behind but my car held up ok and then after that I think I prolly drove my most consistant race ever. There was only 1 lap where I ventured onto the grass with 2 wheels costing me 1 second but apart from that it was perfect stuff Good job too cus the pace behind seemed pretty electric.

Not the best evening's racing for me. Did okay in qualifying (given the limited time I'd had behind the wheel of a GT car). Lost a place after getting offline in T1, and then me and Tyf collided in T2 leaving me spinning into a wall which knackered my rear wing and made driving it hard work. Carried on for a lap or two before pitting, but my off track antics had cost me dearly so I pitted. Made a few more mistakes and cooked my second set of tyres, and being the best part of a lap down on the person infront of me I called it a day.

Really impressed with the consistency of driving these days. In this race last night I finished 16th, and out of the points, yet still on the lead lap after 40 mins of racing. Everyone deserves a pat on the back

Very happy with 2nd after a long GT layoff, especially given the pace at the front - the top 4 all under 1.54.5. I tried to stay with Jon for the first few laps, but it was clear I would melt the tyres if I kept that up. Dropping the pace a bit let the others close the gap, but as my tyres cooled the car became easier to drive. Those behind were clearly pushing hard too, as they all seemed to have small moments which gave me a gap again. I gradually extended this over the 2nd half, which allowed me to ease off in the last few laps. Congrats to Jon for a classy win. Sorry for the mini-tap at T1 - you slowed much more quickly than I expected Paul

Grats to Jon for a super-consistent drive at the front KeyDelay This program assign's buttons on wheel to key strokes. Logitech Profiler has some bugs i.e it can cause sticking gears or loss of FFB, then use KeyDelay instead. I only ever used Profiler for key strokes so np not using it anymore. Press button on wheel you want to assign key stroke, then highlight this button on left. Put in delay time, 100ms - 200ms is what I use and then choose which key stroke to use. i.e for shift up I use M and down N. Now in sim I assign shift up to M and shift down to N. This is ideal for any double shift problems, especially in GTR as it is able to recognise shifts within a very short space of time. http://www.auyu41.dsl.pipex.com/KeyDelay.zip

Thanks Ruskus. Shows what I mean about the tyre wear at Brno, nearly everyone set their fastest time in the first 6 laps. Yep, great standard throughout the field. Makes the racing much more enjoyable when we can race bumper to bumper for 40 minutes with confidence.

Sowwy to Adam P.. Was having a nice run and thought u had seen me trying to go for the inside, hence I tried to pass, lol, failed miserably as was the rest of this race for me, hehe. Not driven the Lambo for months, should have stuck with the C5R I guess, after a couple of laps my front tyres were twice as warm as my rear... My rears were almost up to temp... 65 or so, loool, imagine the understeer I got from having front meds on 130 degrees C . Slid of a couple of times, doh ). Pitted, took hard fronts and med rears, haha! A lot better for a couple of laps, but I had a hard time even keeping up with Whit in his GT2 (no offense m8, but a Lambo should be 2 secs a lap faster, hehe). Managed to finish, woohoo , but as Picnic said, standard is so high nowadays, it was 'only' a 17th spot I think . Ah well, more praccy and prolly a different car and, in the most famous words evah to be pronounced by a Penguin... I'll be back! T

Yep, sorry about that Tyf, thought you were a lot further back (and don't recall seeing a black Lambo in my mirror - they're hard to miss so I'm sure I didn't see you - I'll check my replay when I get back.).
My qualifying times are slowly getting better, but I just have no consistency in a race environment, and lose concentration too quickly after things start going sour ..... I will do better in the NGT race at Brno (although I'm gonna take the Vertigo, so I might get left behind....).

No GT practice and it shows: qualified 14th I was sure car was much faster, but I couldn't quite put it to work. Well, I guess I do join GTs purely for fun nowadays. I decided at the start that if I want to come any higher, I must not make mistakes. I achieved that quite well, though I was driving slower, not daring, not risking (boring ). Was following Dan Minton, who managed to keep the 2 seconds gap lap after lap. No mistake for 10 laps. Waiting payed off as he finaly braked too late and I managed to pass. I was ready for his pursiut but it didn't come - tyres, right? Was looking to make my day by catching Mark Jonzo. He was faster in quali, so it was my turn to beat him in a race. And I did, kind of. Actualy he was fast enough that I wouldn't be able to catch him before the end of the race, though I was slowly closing the gap. He made a mistake (not my fault this time ) and I was quite satisfied to finish 9th. Those (s) in front were outta reach. Crazy pace Grats to the speedest Penguin!
