Actualy he was fast enough that I wouldn't be able to catch him before the end of the race, though I was slowly closing the gap. He made a mistake (not my fault this time closing the gap my arse i was a country mile in front with cars between us this time matey...'cept i double down shifted to 1st from 3rd at the top of the hill left hander and dropped down several places....grrrr I was more than a little (friendly) peeved when you still crossed the line ahead of me, hehe :'( Can see from the front 5 race pace that i need to still find a couple of secs a lap here in the GT's though :'( I felt like i was wringing the neck off the Saleen to stay with and race the 550's but obviously still need to find more pace out of the car.

hehe, nice one Tyf....you are most definitely right ! Though other than one person in a Saleen, it was noticable that all the faster cars up front were Fezza 550's. I'm a long, long way off alien driving standards thats for sure.

You just need to be really smooth with the Saleen. One spin and your race is ruined in the Saleen (like my last lap ). It's just very bad on tyres

Apart from the winning car! On pace alone looking at last nights race I would have been 4th or 5th in the Lambo. It is mostly about driving skill not the car.

Hi Outcold. I expect Gizmo will be along regarding access to the GT season. With respect to the car then see this threadIf you are an independent then you need a car with your forum user number (317 in your case) You have sadly missed the skin pack refresh, deadline was yesterday to submit the skin. I'm sure RichA will be along if there is anychance to tell you what you need to do.

Hi OutCold, to sign up for a spot in GT Sprint post in the registration thread (nobody has noticed that the championship pages now link to the appropriate registration threads ). There are still at least four full time spots free in GT Sprint. Registration for Endurance Season 3 doesn't close until Saturday.

To finish first, first you must have fins.

Was a fun race for me, while it lasted. Got a decent qual spot and was confident I could run with the top five in the race. BUT, I overdrove the 550 again, lol, managed to get up behind Paul, but had a spin on the turn up the hill and lost a couple of places. Had a great battle with Greg for a few laps, but we had an inc, I kept going for a couple of laps then I lost conn grrr. I keep over driving the 550 as I've campained the Viper online mostly, might have to jump in the Dodge for Donny.

It seems like an age since my last 550 related disaster, has the sprint race at Oschers next week been confirmed? Don't mind a delay as my pedals have gone wonky and those nice people at BRD don't think new bits will arrive by then. Please ignore me if this has already been explained somewhere
