Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 266s

No 25 makes a move down the inside into T4 and as Greg runs slightly wide they go through the corner level. There is some slight contact on the exit, which affects Greg a bit more. On the short run to T5 No 25 gets a better run and gets to the apex first. Greg turns in to hit the apex but hits no 25 who is in the way. Greg should have left room on the inside with a car alongside with significant overlap.

  • greg130 (Greg130)penalty — Side by side contact — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 1473s

No25 attempts to drive around the outside of Greg130, cuts into the apex sharply and makes contact. As a result No25's car flips over.

  • Paul Cowan (No25)penalty — Overambitious overtake and side by side contact — 2 places lost

Race: 9:15pm (40 mins)

Cars allowed: Any GT car or Corvette or Viper G2. (Seat Toledo is allowed but will not score points.)

First I would like to welcome you to our fantastic community  Grin

Just put up your driving and lobby name in this thread https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=1421.0 and I'm sure they will make you a reserve as the numbers are a bit low this season.

Sprint races last 40 minutes.

Find the championship roster here https://www.simracing.org.uk/index.php?ind=lm2&group=22.

If you have any more questions don't hestitate to ask them  Smiley

With the new server coming on stream, there are effectively loads of spaces free in GT Sprint.

The replays and exports are working on the new server yes.

No GTR replays still don't have wheels as we have to use the noDX version of the server.

I'm afraid I will have to miss this race as there is a VERY important football game I need to watch on.

Grimsby vs Lincoln in the League 2 Playoff Semi-Final 2nd Leg.

Hopefully Grimsby will be up by many goals already from the first leg, but it will still need to be watched.

I may or may not be here for this one .... I'll try and make it, not really practiced too much on this circuit with the GT cars, having been concentrating on NGT for next week.

It seems that we have lost them again; a league race cannot go ahead without at least the exports because we don't have any other way to get the results into the database. Hopefully they will fix it during today but otherwise the race will be postponed and we'll run some sort of fun race instead.

Isn't there a sort of trial for 2 months with this server in which both parties can cancel the agreement? Tongue

Ok, I hold a grudge against Jolt, hehe. Never mind me Wink Cheesy (For more info read the instagib part of their Unreal Tournament forum Wink)

My last post seems to have dissappeared so I'll repost...

We should still have our 4u server (old server) till 20th May so we will move this race to that so that we don't have to postpone if Jolt haven't sorted the problem out. Of course typically, we can't currently access the 4u server but I think that is a temporary problem.

I think I'll give the "football" a miss (surely the codheads can't lose to those long ball merchants Smiley ). Thanks for your efforts behind the scenes and hopefully there will be a bigger field tonight. Brno and the 550 is proving an interesting combo for me.    Shocked.
