Does anyone share my habit of doing two laps at walking pace for (new) tracks ? Can be quite revealing !

LOL!!   I wish I had on this version of Imola, Dan.

I thought that I knew it because we had raced at Imola before, but some sneaky gremlin has moved the chicanes!!!  ………...and that came at a bit of a surprise as I powered into areas that I thought were safe!!! Shocked
As a result, the various excursions and spins probably gave me a lap time far slower than your walking pace survey! and a car that needed some cosmetic attention  Roll Eyes.

Despite the Beemers (yum) and Imola (like) Culture takes precedence over my racing *cough* career *cough* tonight as there is a lecture by one of the foremost Flemish authors in the library where I have one of my volunteer jobs which makes it a not-to-be-missed opportunity. Since she's translated in at least German and French (unsure about English), it might be worthwile to mention her name: Griet op de Beeck. Not for the faint of heart though.

Kudos to Kurt. Not an easy task you took upon you there.

One to forget for me. Just come down with cold gifted from Mrs Wiltshire  thumbdown  Could not get into the flow of this track or remember the braking points. Several excursions gave me cuts for which I server a stop/go. Left pits and the following lap received a DQ for not taking a stop/go  taz  Must of forgotten one  Roll Eyes
Grats to Geoffers on the Championship win. Hope to be better for Charade on Monday.

And Thursdays........ Roll Eyes

As far as I remember we did P&G races on Thursdays back then.

Mondays to Thursdays - for me I'll make all possible. Normally no fixed dates during that period of the week.
