I think that is the first time I have gone race distance in a 67 car at this track, with no reset. If I had not messed up La Source a couple of times I might have got a podium.

  Congrats Cookie!!!!
it was terrible the battle between Cookie and Pelle ...... my god this was to take the breath, congratulations rapazaes this was very good to see the replay !!!!
my racing was very complicated ....... my speed in spa67 is very compromised with fps problems
my pc is very old
to complete the problems my motor was gone in a few meters ...... 1 shiftr and then a stop and go, ready .... far away and do recovery race ..... in the end 1 point was a reward

Due to the auto elimination of Taber and Jeep, for me was the first time to realize a podium on this track but ,at the 13th lap,my engine have decided to not give me this satisfaction.

I know the Cooper is not the ideal car for Spa, but I have never driven anything else in UKGPL races. So I was predictably slow, but at least I was the most consistent.  Smiley

Sorry to hear that Fran.  Have you checked your replay on the analyser to see if your gear changes are still a problem?

Grats Cookie & Phil  thumbup2

Qual:
Copi/paste setup from Hocken with change & fix...a mix laugh ...because it was my 1st time here in Ferrari.
After some tests, I really didn't want pole here. There are some weird bumps & feel slippery on pole...unfortunately, Cookie avoided them all Tongue

Race:
Good start & follow Cookie as a shadow. Already on lap 1, I found Cookie's weak sides & the fast, especially Masta was not fast & with downgearing?
GT in a Brab never became a threat...it became Cookie when I finally got past & everything went wrong for T'last. I hit an invisible wall & the car is already strange (Replay report says nothing?) & Cookie in front again.
The rest of the race...it's easier to say like Jonny, it's going to be seen on Replay. Shocked My biggest shock, side on side to Masta, I'm on the inside, cut too much grass & spin at 300km/h, yes in Masta...but survive without hitting a house Grin
2xpicnic trip in my 1st place try, it took a little too long & must show the white flag on the last lap for surrender...it was Cookie's day Cool

Don't know point position after this race, but I think it has become more exciting now, where Jonny ended 6  Undecided
Hope everyone had fun at Spa, but someone disappeared a little fast, you forgot that you can use S-R Huh
I take my hat off, running Spa & other fast tracks...in Cooper & BRM thumbup1
A little fun, no Honda today...it can be reasonably fast here.

Congrats Axel, Pelle, and Phil!

Damn, once again, my apologies John. I was a passenger when you got to me. I knew I had collected you. I should have watched the replay. That was likely the most spectacular crash I've had in a while. Spa really wasn't kind to my Brabham with a lot of fuel.

I couldn't remember if I was required to stop and go after my reset. I didn't stop and I didn't care. I wanted to see if I could get back to P3. I almost did. I was going to pit if I regained P3. I expected to be disqualified. Once I damaged the engine with an accident at Blanchimont, I retired soon after that.

Had I not got in John's way, it would have been a little bit of fun. Without any race fuel practice, my two crashes, and John's demise, I can't say I got any real joy from this one.

Thanks guys. Take care.

That was certainly one of the best GPL crashes I have seen in a long time Greg. I should have probably backed off a bit more which would have saved my race but I figured the speed and altitude of your car was going to put you somewhere on the railway line, not back onto the track. I really need to read the rules I guess, I didn't realise I could have Sh-r and took a stop and go (My car wasn't going anywhere under it's own steam).

Up to that point I was about where I expected. Also as expected the front 4 began to pull a gap quite early on and I also had a gap developing behind. I knew the Eagles following would eat my Ferrari down Masta which is why I was reluctant to ease off when I saw Greg's Brabham pirouetting off track ahead.

Shame I really like Spa'67 ad was looking forwards to this one.

Congrats to Podium and all finishers.

I was one Cooper there. After a good start I was in sixth Position and everyting was looking good but than I had a Screenfreeze.
Was on Windows 7 this time after my recent problems with GPL. First it looked all well with GPL. But now with the freeze I do not know... Roll Eyes
Gratulations to the Podium!

I had a couple of screen freezes practicing off-line and one screen freeze in qually.  Thankfully no problems in the race.
I'm on Windows 7 too, not sure what the problem is. Not sure there is one problem or one solution.

Make shure you have the lightest version of Spa67 installed

and
- for intel CPUs "disable intel speedstep" checked in GEM+

- AMD CPUs need C&Q disabled in bios.
