Anyone have a problem with #41 Mazda (green car). I cannot see it in the showroom and it crashes my GTL if I try to use it.

Shows up OK & works OK for me.
I can only get the #41CY car to work if I let it use the wheel graphics file from the Gr.4 set. I do not know why or how Geoffers has had no problems with this car  Huh

Since it is only one car and we have loads of skins for the Mazda Gr.2. cars I'm going to remove it from the cars we can use.

I did a complete re-install of the Mazda car set to try and fix it.

IMPORTANT

It's the first time we have run all of these cars online so there could be problems.

I would urge everyone to check that they have downloaded everything correctly. Also please check that your chosen three cars all work online BEFORE race night.

Please post if you experience any problems.

Thanks

IMPORTANT

I have created a download that contains all the cars (+fixes) and tracks for this series.

If you would like this, please send me a pm.

Thanks

Tony, how many Toyotas are on the server? There are 24 in the original car download, but only 9 in your 'fix' files, are those 9 the only ones on the server? I have tried the Mazda & Isuzu & the ones I tried are fine, just tried a couple of Toyotas & they came up as 'car not on server'.

PS: Just tried a couple that are in the 'fix' files & they are not there either! Is the Toyota not on the server?

There are only nine cars in the UKGTL download, so only nine cars in the fix download too.

The cars available are numbers 25, 26, 33, 36, 62, 74, 77, 400 & 401.

OK Tony, not sure why I have 24 cars then  Huh. But I tried 25 & 400 & both came up as not on server. Never mind I will delete them all from my install & start again.

I think you must have the original Toyota download and god knows how old that was. I don't think I ever raced it so it's Pre WT. Yes please delete your current Toyota carset and replace with the one linked to.

EDIT: Just checked and we used the Toyota back in 2009. The Toyota now used is by the same team (Team21) but created 10 years after the original version with many improvements incorporated. More details are in the read-me.

Just deleted the Corolla & redownloaded & all works fine now Tony. Checked when I downloaded it before & it was on 16/12/18 so that must have been before the download was updated. Anyway its OK now.  thumbup1

uuuuuuuuuum Tony? a little confused by the results.
The results for this race show me as a lap down, but I don't think that I was lapped, so should be shown as completing 26 laps?

I did however take a detour behind the pits after making a complete mess of the last turn and firing the car ( a long way ) across the green stuff, rejoining some way past the S/F line, just before T1.

Not sure if it would affect the result, but it might  Roll Eyes

Actually Clive I do recall passing your Isuzu just after the hairpin with about 3 laps to go, you appeared to be rejoining after a 'comfort break'!  Shocked  If you had missed the timing point when you went off you would have had one lap which took twice as long as normal, about 90s.

Clive, I have watched the replay, and on one of your site seeing excursions, you rejoin the track at the start/finish line (probably missing the actual line), so I suspect you failed to have have your finished lap recorded.

The results table does show you in the correct position.

Some great little battles going on all night long, no matter where you were in the order of things, which is good to see  thumbup1

Some things to note for future races in this series though.

Please do not stay out on track when voting starts. And could everyone vote when asked to, please  I Am Not Worthy

We have to pack three races into one evening so the quicker we can jump sessions the quicker we can get our Horlicks.

As we continue through the series the tracks are longer, so we may find that certain car makes do become more advantageous.
