The championship says this series is designed by OldGeezer? Is he still around? Or is that one of you? But who then? *confused*

Impossible to create the result chart of race 2 due to the reasons explained above.

With Clive & Dan's qualifying pace I expected these races to be rather tougher than they eventually turned out to be.

First race in the Falcon, made a goodish start & had Dan on my case for the first lap, he gave me a little bump at the start of lap 2, got me slightly out of shape & slowed us enough to let Clive into 2nd place. Was sure Clive would close in but I gradually pulled away, not bothering about the tyres I just went as fast as possible & worry about the wear later. Actually although the car got slower with lessening grip it wasn't much more tricky to drive, so was able to hold onto a small lead until the end.

Second race started much the same with Dan chasing hard, was a bit bemused as to where Clive had gone as he would surely have been challenging too. Dan hassled me for 3-4 laps but then started to fall back into the grips of Fulvio, they must have tangled at some point as my lead suddenly grew from 5s to 13s. Tyre wear was more of a problem this time & I started to struggle for grip from around half distance, but with a decent gap back to Fulvio there was no need to push too hard.

Congrats to Clive & Fulvio for their 2nd places & well done Dom for your two podiums.  clap clap clap

I'll be damned. I remembered both an 'Bob M.' AND an 'oldgeezer' from the old days in Nappe's championships. Either my memory is haywire again or there were two 'Bob M''s with this Bob M. choosing the monicker 'oldgeezer'.

Anyway, Hi, oldgeezer. Didn't we use to have quite a few battles in those days?

Dom:
Yes that would be me.  I started GTL way back, my nephew bought me the old GTL/GTR twin disk pack when I retired and it first came out.  He set up a server and I raced with him, his friends, my brother and a couple of my boys.  Then life kindof got in the way of some and I found out about GCrib, so raced there in the 3 GTL series that they ran.  Also raced off and on at NoGrip if they had something of interest to me and also some of Nappes races.  Then when GC folded I came to SROUK with about 5 or 6 others, Ziu and I are the only ones that stayed, most others went to Bude or kissed GTL goodby. As long as health permits I will be "GTL Forever".  Tony runs a great series and i just have a idea every so often and he let's me run with it and then he helps out and makes it happen.
