Championship Standings here

Grid/server capacity: 22

RACE ONE

Practice: ~19:25 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:25 (5 mins, One attempt at a timed lap only)
Race: 20:30 (16 laps)

Track: Teratonga Download this

Cars allowed: Isuzu Bellett 1600GT Download this
Mazda RX-3 Gr.2 Download this (Exclude car #41CY)
                       Toyota Corolla KE30 Download this

To fix the Mazda, so that it shows up in-game, download this http://www.mediafire.com/file/so9a37x756n5j2y/Mazda_TC-65_cars.zip/file
and overwrite the existing car files.

To fix the Toyota, so that it shows up in-game, download this http://www.mediafire.com/file/24k2r01heel0xgl/Toyota_TC-65_cars.zip/file
and overwrite the existing car files.

Car restrictions: One drive maximum per make/per night. You decide which race you enter which make in.

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops: Not required

Server: simracing.org.uk Wednesday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Note early race start.

IMPORTANT

Due to the server crash we suffered recently, we are now hosted on a brand new, super fast (it says here) server.

I would ask all driver's to join the Lobby at their earliest opportunity to check everything is ok.

Big thank you to Picnic who's work behind the scenes enabled me to get GTL up and running on our new server in super quick time, thanks Pete  I Am Not Worthy

Picnic is this the same Server we use for RRE. If it is, hopefully it will sort out my “Server not Responding” problems. Huh

It is the same machine  Bill. All our game servers have had to be rebuilt, hence the work we had to do
last week to try to get everything looking the same. The account we use to log on has changed
which Is why I redid stuff I didn't need to.

Bill, could this not have been posted somewhere more relevant e.g. in the RRE forum. It has  censored all to do with GTL or this race.

Just now tried out the practice server.  My three car selection load fine, but the video is very jerky esp. in a corner and also the audio doesn't come out clear either, kind of crackly sounding.. Haven't changed anything on my PC.  Also want to ask what is the correct data rate setting  in the Multiplayer area, I have always used ISDL, is that OK?  Hope it's not only my PC compatabilty with the new server.  Would have a headache for sure after a few laps.

Does this happen everytime you join the server (even after re-booting your PC?)

I still have an issue with the Mazda. It CTD when I try to join even off line.
I have deleted any trace of it that I can find, redownloaded, and installed
added the overwrite zip, deleted 41cy. I can load and run with any others
but not the Mazda, and I have tried a few of them.

Oddly the Toyota was in GTC-56 dir, and the others are in TC-65
I copied the Totota dir to TC-65, and it hasn't cganged anything
it could find it before, and still does.

ANy suggestions?
