Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Sorry Matt but despite my best efforts I cannot drive this car at pace, it’s beyond my coordination/ability. So I will not be attending any of the races in this Series.  Roll Eyes

@Eck Simpson

When you crash two times on another car without waiting, you should think about that. It's not the first time and it won't be the last, but the next time I will not brake and I will crash into your car without braking. Never seen manouvres like that. For your information, my subsequent manouvre into your car was intentional. That's the only way people understand. You deserved to get paid with the same money.

Matteo

Please take a few minutes and put in an Incident Report, and a Moderator will have a look at it.
I try to avoid discussusions of who hit who in the forum where we can.  Roll Eyes

Thanks
Matt.

I apologize for my early post.

Unfortunately I had a Nannini moment after that episode. I won't file any report and I will accept any penalty for my behaviour. It was just frustrating to suffer that manouvres in the lapse of two consecutive corners, so I've lost my head. That's it.

@Manteos: No worries. I looked at the replay, and may not have seen everything, but it was two different people
who seemed to be "dancing" with you.  Grin

Yes, very sorry Riccardo, I seemed to brake in plenty of time but you stopped much quicker than I did & I could not avoid hitting you, I did wait until you had gone past before rejoining. I also clipped your car a couple of laps later when you got out of shape at T1/2, but that time it was your car that veered into mine. Appears we always seem to make contact in recent races, but that's just how it goes sometimes I guess.

Race in general was very enjoyable, battled my way through to 5th but could not catch Frex ahead, inherited 4th when John ran out of fuel, bad luck John.

Congrats to Gavino, Alessandro & Frex.  clap clap clap

Enjoy driving these and the race was good fun. Made up a place or two early on, then chased Alessandro. Chipped away a tenth or two here and there, but then made a mistake coming onto the banking and clipped the wall, which dropped me back again. Inherited P3 when John retired at the end.

Congrats Alessandro and Gavino.

Shxt happens. There will always be the occasional contact in races.
Apart from the most excellent management of the race series  Roll Eyes
one reason people come to race here with us is because we are normally a well behaved bunch.

If you knock someone off, and it is your fault through skill failure or poor judgement
then wait for them to get going. A self imposed penalty like that saves admin, and is
just a nice thing to do.

If someone is regularly spoiling the fun, then we bore them to death with incident reports
until they either take offence and go away, or become more considerate.  Grin

People, and I am often guilty of this, make mistakes, and their car goes somewhere they didn't want  Embarrassed
As always though, if you think someone is making a deliberate bad move, then put in an incident report
and a mod will eventually have a look at it. It does require some effort, and they are not always dealt
with immediately, but it helps us maintain the good will here.
