Can we make the races 5 minutes, I keep breaking my gearboxes . I've put a setup on stracker. It's the only one I tried, but it's the one I used. There is still time to be found, but I need to pit every 4 laps for a new car

I don't know how you do these times Jeff, amazing pace just busted my balls for 40mins trying to get near it and i'm still 1.2 secs off despite improving my pb by near 2 seconds! still, hopefully i'll pass some of your gear cogs later in the race

'If in doubt, arse out'. A mantra to live your life to. More seriously though, I'd take that with at least a pinch of salt. As with random settings on the server we can't fully compare laps anymore. However, that setup feels bloody good I'll have to give Jeffreys setup a go too, as from looking at his lap trace he's taken a totally different route to me. It's also 5 degrees warmer on his current session, but I'm not sure if that's faster or slower in these....

Ive talked earlier that in week Practice session we do not need temps randomizator at all. We need it only for official wed GP session Hope it will be fixed by Pete .

Yeah but the temp variance is only going to affect tyre psi a bit, by one or two psi, not really fazing laptimes that much at least not by seconds Careful about that a*se hanging out mantra if you visit certain parts of London

Ive talked earlier that in week Practice session we do not need temps randomizator at all. We need it only for official wed GP session I agree. In my opinion: practice with a stable temp qual and race with random temps. In AC temps have a great effect on laptimes, maybe for speeds and grip. This is not a psi problem; at least I have never cared too much if the temperature varies a little. I have no idea about your setups (I ve not stracker cause shuttering/fps on my PC). I'm, simple, slow in this kind of cars (like on 250 GTO too)

It's not possible in AC. Just for whole server launch In overall i agree- this car and track is more about luck and skill, than temperatures 1-2C

Temps make a difference to my tires I don't see any point in having stable temps to practice with, if we than have a random race/qually condition. At least with a random practice server you can pop on for 20 mins a couple of times before the event to see how your car behaves in different conditions. If you're really serious you can conceivably adjust your setup to suit the conditions and then save them specifically - and then just pick the right ones on the night. Or just do what I do - which is set the car up as a rally car so it doesn't matter. (mistake by you there Mark, these cars are supposed to be driven sideways )

There is not an open server for practice and than one, with password, for the race day (so qual too)? In overall i agree- this car and track is more about luck and skill, than temperatures 1-2C I probably have not been clear before. I was simply referring to the temp/laptimes. Lower temperatures make you faster.
