Bad season start to night Sad
I couldn't join the server. Everytime i tried GPL crashed. I could join ALL other servers in igor with the exception of the UK sever Sad Huh Also to join over iP was not possible, tried other cars, no chance, no idea???   Roll Eyes
Was a great pity, because I like Hockheim races very much
May be we'll see us next race
Hope you all have had fun Smiley

But still an idea. The bandwidth looks differnt to all other servers?

Good enough start given my time away - but I touched a sign approaching Ostkurve while shadowing Tristan and got through into the trees.
I rejoined to find the engine spluttering but decided to press on
Only to then discover the fuel tank was holed so I ran out of fuel anyway before even finishing the lap Roll Eyes

Tried to watch the race and then GPL crashed anyway.

Oh well, at least it was only 5 points....
Good fun while it lasted though!

@Uli
the Bandwith is for 60fps! and the server is set to override client settings!

Shame I made some mistakes and allways recovered into the front fight to make the next spin...
Finaly my engine blew Roll Eyes

This was a good race, and most interesting to see the difference in downforce settings. I was running about 4-4.5 degrees, so I was fast through Ostkurve, and eventually made my way up to 4th. Then in the last five laps, Clive started reeling me in like a kipper. On the last lap he overtook me, and then sat in the middle of the track, despite me getting a good tow. Then I missed the braking point before the stadium and clobbered him.  Sad  I am so sorry, mate.  Clive made it across the line on 3 wheels. I had to reset. Tried to stop in the pits, dunno if I did before the start/finish line.

Sorry Rainier,i was concentrated to not touch the Matra in front of me and i have not seen your car.

That ended well for me ...so no problem  Grin

This win is a big surprise for me as I was very slow during qually.
But, thanks to a good start and first of all to the slipstream, I could follow the leaders.
Then all leaders vanished except Andreas.
I could overtake him on the last lap just before the stadium.

It was tough with Axel when he tried to pass between Andreas and me   Shocked Shocked Huh
And also with Francesco when we overlapped him !  sweatdrop

Really shame, was hoping to see you up the front again.

Grats to Dave, that was a really clever Race you drove!

All in all a good start in a hopefully good season.  thumbup1

I didn't expect to do very well tonight so I opted for a cheap car to increase my stash of tokens. Although I was last, I was quicker than I had anticipated but no where near quick enough to match Monsieur Rainier. Congratulations David, a brilliant race. I need to learn your secret.

Unlucky Axel, I thought you were on target to win your home Grand Prix.

I'm on holiday for a week or so, back for the 55GP race at Spa. That will be interesting after having driven these super fast machines.

Quite enjoyable hanging on to the front runners until I blew the engine, presumably after I dropped to 4 too soon at Ostkurve. Then it was a long and quite lonely race on full tanks again.

I had to reset. Tried to stop in the pits, dunno if I did before the start/finish line.

Well you stopped before the line but not in the stalls which are after it.

Glad I'm not a mod any more. Smiley

I will have a look at it...
But I think a reset and a stop in the pitlane is penalty enough Wink

Hey, I drove wings 0,75 / 0.5 wich is here my best compromise speed vs downforce

Funny Race. Improvised a setup in 5min i had after the handball match Germany-France.

Last Lap i thougt Ronnie is out of fuel. Last Corner i see Evil very slow, but missed him by 0,12 seconds...
If i would have known that he is on three wheels..

OK, but if a driver is unable to do a S&G because it's the final lap, is he due a time penalty instead?
