Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Chaps

It is still not possible to create an on line race with the DTM1995 car.
If they haven't fixed it now, they are not likely to soon, so we need to use a different car.
Can still count to this championship, but I need to set the server to something else.

I can use the 1992 Merc
I can use the 2003 or 2005 DTM Merc
I can use the Gr5 without the Fabcar Porka.
I can use the Fabcar Porka
I can use any car you all want.

Answers on a postcard please.  Grin

If they ever fix the missing car in the server list we can start using it again.

03/05 DTM feels a little too modern for the Thursday retro vibe imo (although it's probably not!). Skyline spec series gets my vote again - nice car but never get to use it.

Or there's always the 934..  angel

Skyline is a maybe, I don't like it because it feels like the standard cars in AC, it doesn't feel connected to the road.
I also would prefer to not use the modern 2003/2005 mercs, but I don't mind. I can put a different car each
event, so every 3rd week would be a different car. Might be morechanges than people have time for?
Also, may be best to use a car that either everybody is happy to buy, or already has.
I will do a few laps in the 2003/5 mercs and see what they are like.

Yes but it was top of the your list! I’ll drive anything you choose but with grandson here until Friday the practice time appears to be limited, Wednesday morning looks most likely practice time.  Roll Eyes

hehe. I tried the DTM2003 last night round Suzuka, and it is a very good thing  thumbup1
Loads of grip, loads of power. Easy to drive, tricky to drive on the limit. I like it very much.
A bit "recent" for Thursdays perhaps, but is a good alternative to the 1995Merc.

Sometime this evening I will set the server to be either:
Gr5 Capri
or
DTM2003 Merc

Depending on who shouts up.
I also logged another support ticket with R3E about the missing car in the server list.
