Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0

At the race start, Tristan (aka MagicArsouille) largely cut the original pitstraight where the armco should be installed.

He only did it at the start and it gave him no advantage (in fact Tristan made a poor start) ...but Tristan should read and understand the rules before the races !

This incident has not been reported so no penalty will be given, but I think it should be mentioned :

at 1m44s, Francesco overtook Rich on the inside but then was moving across to take up the racing line before he had cleared the overtaken car. Rich was already hugging the kerb and Fran moved over into him.
This is a typical side by side contact made by Francesco.

Server replay time: 0h07m55s

From 7m 55s and during this 13 seconds Rich made a bad rejoin on track in front of Francesco and then a side by side contact with Rainier.

Rich was seriously warping (it has been confirmed by several drivers), that should explain these mistakes.

For the next races, Rich should check connection and don't use wifi connection to router.

Thanks Axel but we have to create an account to download it.

I don't like to create accounts on unknown sites, in the best case it will just send me lot of advertising but what in the worst ...??
Is there a chance to get replay by the usual UKGPL site ?

Hi All

Now I have seen the replay I would like to apologize to Rainier and Francesco for my mistakes,I would also like the collision I had at the previous corner with Cookie to be looked at because the way it looks to me in the replay I was T'Boned which set all this commotion in progress?

Rich you were badly warping all the time and I was busy to avoid a contact several times...

O.k no worries Cookie that might explain why I turned into Rainier because he was showing in my mirrors although jumping around as I maneuvered into him!

Rich
We have lots of rules and penalty guidelines on the ukgpl.com website. Very few people have committed all the rules to memory, we all need to refer to them from time to time. The guidelines for warp incidents are here. If you have a read through them they may help you understand the effects of "internet lag" or "warp". The guidelines for rejoining a race are here.

I hope you are enjoying the racing with us. We are here to have fun but we have a strong competitive spirit (hence the need for rules).

Regards
Phil

Rich I do not know much about your online experience, but if you see all other jumping around, it is very likely yourself who is warping.

I have a comfortable position, my race pc and the server are 5m apart, wich gives a ping of 0 Wink

In this "terrific" first lap, before our incident,  I also saw Francesco turning into you like he was not seeing anything. (No incident have been reported atm)
Maybe, it's due to warping too   !!???

Rich, this may have been mentioned before. Are you using a hardwire connection to your router? Wi-Fi is notoriously bad for GPL.
