Not sure they get many Alfa GTA’s in Siberia so I’m guessing Alexey hadn’t driven one I think the 105 step fronts are great cars in real life and have thought on getting one on many occasions but they are big bucks nowadays I’m now after an Integrale if you know someone selling I did a load more laps today without improving, very frustrating All russian cars goes from Alfas Romeo chassis ideas and still on the village-village roads or offroads .. But its not making this chassis very good for fast race track driving.. But to drive it in AC i need 3 hours for homologation to driving style , speeds, sounds and suspention movement. Because is so difficult to drive the baby carriage with big wheels in high speed, isn't it . Formula bullets from 60'S is more better here, Porsche carrera RSR too. Ok I am shut up. I know it's still a "legend" in peoples.

Matt where is your fighting spirit? You give up too easy, these cars just need more seat time to get a handle on them the track is wide enough for some good racing and there is always someone to race unless you fall off big style. @fabri, yes Lancia Integrale 16v or Evo1. Seen a few nice ones for sale in Italy, whereabouts in the country are you? I’m hoping to go and see a couple in the uk next weekend but Italian ones ‘appear’ to be in better condition.

I live in Salerno. My mechanic's workshop is the ""temple" of the Deltas. I could find something if you give me a few days time. Also I have a friend who has a Delta and maybe wants to sell it (he collects cars, buys them and then sells). If you are interested in something truly unique, we have an Alfa GTV Turbodelta ('79).

Car handles like a Volvo Amazon with flat tyres, not like a finely tuned Italian race car. Good fun, but not realistic at all. I will give this one a miss.
To minimize a headache in driving this car , do full drop it , increase all stiffness to max and set front camber to 2.1 degree in left screen. Suspention movement will not cut here anyway but the car becomes more friendly for grip style driving. But the shocks will still be fully leaked

I had a quick go last night and found myself on with Matteo. It all started out well with us setting the cars up and working on lap times - then after about 20 or 30 minutes we found ourselves near each other on the track.. We spent 20 minutes just racing each other, these cars are hilarious here - every single corner is a passing opportunity (provided you trust your opponent) and we were swapping position multiple times per lap Oddly I seem fastest on my Cadwell setup, I really didn't think it would suit Donny and expected to be going even softer on the rear. Really looking forward to Weds!

i noticed you guys in the 24's now. Would be helpful to the rest of the grid if you could share some setup advice for this car here just to close up the grid. stiff front, soft rear? I found gearing tricky here. Still not sure if longer ratios are better or short, as downshifting often pitches me into a lurid oversteer on corner entry.

For me all stiff and low and proper gearing. I'll use 4. Just for full relacs in driving . All other softer and higher are just for drift maniacs and airplane B777 lovers. I love B777 and ( yet more B747 JumboJet) and they are will be more friendly in track racing in this case, IMHO PS. And do not forget to cut white lines and last chicane for out of 25

I found gearing tricky here. Still not sure if longer ratios are better or short, as downshifting often pitches me into a lurid oversteer on corner entry. I've left is as it was for Cadwell, just lower in general. Back end is actually fairly stiff, with an open (coast) diff - this allows you to get the back out on corner entry and under braking. That is worth nearly a second here IMO. Down side is that you HAVE to be competent at heel & Toe plus trail braking, and you need light shoes to avoid over doing it on the exits. I'm not using the shortest gear ratios as I think that I might actually run out of revs late in the race when low on fuel... My power diff is still locked from Cadwell, I haven't tried opening it up yet to see what happens. If you're getting massive oversteer on corner entry then you're either braking too hard or too late, remember that tire grip is negligible in these so engine braking is pretty damn fierce once down into 2nd. Effectively that moves your brake bias well back into the slowest corners!

Spent another half hour plugging around but simply cannot improve my time I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t able to find time with a car through several practise sessions very frustrating as it’s a simple car and i like Alfa 105’s! Oh well I’ll have more fun in the pack

I should be ok for tonight. Had a few laps offline and as usual in AC I'm struggling to get any decent pace. For me, driving neatly = very slow laptimes while a more cavalier approach is quicker but less consistent.....should be interesting
