Why did Pete only do 9 laps?
Because I suck  Cry Kept falling off, didn't seem to have any control last night and had no one to race. No joy 'hot' lapping on my own so quit and went and tried Project Cars 2 which showed me a screen about some fun pack or something which I couldn't click any buttons on so shut the PC down in disgust and went and did some work.

Managed to put a few laps practice in for this one which allowed me to have a decent setup for quali and race. Unfortunately I had an awful start having completely missed the lights and ended up next to last by the time I reached T1.

With a bit of battling and a few mistakes by others I got up to 4th and started to chase down Geoffers who was busy with Riccardo. I had given up hope of getting past when Geoffers made a slight error which allowed me through. By race end my front tyres were badly worn and I almost threw it away on my last lap, just about holding out to take 3rd.

Well done to pody and nice racing all  Cool

Enjoyed that! Had an almost race-long battle with Spanner, until I dropped a wheel on the grass near the end and spun. Good fun. Shame that Pete dropped out though, as that could have been a 3-way fight.

Thanks all; congrats podium.

Yep, good fun these cars.

Well pleased with my qually time, hadn't broken 1.50 in testing. Unfortunately then went & muffed the start by not giving it enough revs & bogging down & compounded my error by leaving the inside line open for Riccardo. So just held on to 3rd after T1 & spent the next several laps chasing him, but this track is so difficult to overtake on there was no way past. Eventually it was me that made a mistake which let Tudor overtake & I spent the rest of the race chasing him. Even with Tudor making a mistake on the final lap there was nowhere I could attempt an overtake. But it was very enjoyable.  thumbup1

Congrats to John, Riccardo & Tudor.  clap clap clap

After quallifying it was clear i was going to be on my own which is what i needed as its quite intense around here. What eneded up was quite stressful! A good start seemed to mean most of the race was spend defending. I kinda want to thank and apologise to Frex; it was clear you where faster than me overall but it also meant i had no chance to rest or get bored!

Good race! enjoyed that one. tweaked the setup from last race which worked for me on this track.

This is a tricky track, easy to over drive and get it wrong! managed to get into a nice rhythm and maintain a gap to Riccardo
well done to the podium and nice to see Goldtop back on track.

till the next one guys!
