Pfft,  I dream of a front end like that.  All I'm getting right now is huge understeer, just like donington  Embarrassed

Honestly I'm just confused,  I once had some nice setups for this car and front end was never an issue but now it just doesnt want to play. I tried so many things in the setup and I'm getting nowhere

yeah know what you mean. I was getting very frustrated at Donington because i just wasnt improving my times despite putting the laps in for practise. I made some small changes for race 2 that transformed the car but i cant remember what i changed in the heat of the action  Hit with a wet fish Similarly i am struggling to improve here. Undecided

IMHO you should practice in online server. It's brings to me very different car feel. I've lost 50 laps of my own local server practice  due this strange things. This combo should have a many laps of practice in UKAC server to see the differencies of each your car setups values.

Yeh you are probbaly right,  I noticed the same with the Evora race last time, my practice setup was good but come race time the balance had changed :-(   I will try and run some on the practice server tonight or tomorrow.

I was practicing online though (with settings I believe mimic the race server). Usually at the weekend I get together with a couple of buddies and we have an extended practice session in random car/track combos just for fun.  A few years back we used to run in some organized races but its been a while...

Sorry Picnic if a buggered your race 2 just before the entry to the chicane. Had a senior moment but it doesn't forgive any unsafe rejoining!! Stewards please judge accordingly.

Sorry guys that I didn't stop around and chat after the race, was slightly miffed it all went to  censored.  Practice and qually were good, all running well then almost immediately in the first lap of race 1 I had horrible stutters and frame drops just totally randomly almost every lap  Angry  I have no idea why, as I've not had that happen before and havn't changed any settings before todays races...

anyway,

Congrats to FMG on 2 wins  Smiley   There were times in race 2 it almost ran ok and we had a good close run for a few laps , then it all went to censored again in the last few laps taz

LOL - I saw you having problems and that distracted me such that I slid in to you. I felt guilty as I should have been able to avoid you, hence waiting.

I had a real problem at the start of race 2 as I wondered if the UI allowed me to see what my lap time was in race 1 but I lost my yellow dot the Rift display uses to select anything. I tried changing views, alt-tabbing to another program and resetting the Rift centre all without much luck. I could see the yellow dot but it refused to move. Then with a few secs left it moved so I tried to hit the drive button but I got dumped in the pits and told nothing would work for 15 secs Sad Still at least it meant I didn't get turned around in T1 again  Roll Eyes

Quafied 3rd and was happy with my own lap record. Smiley
In 1st race i've just tryed to stay stable and finished in good 4 pos.  yes Two times i saw how MJ was mistaken in front of me ( I know- he wanted to win over me ) but no way here. I won!  Tongue  Grin
2nd race was as always like a blast! But i must to say very sorry , Jari , for our accident in 3rs lap.  surrender
My all attention was watched the fight between Max and FMG in , as Max swept across the grass in front of me, after him I grabbed a curb and all the attention was there ( in front guys maneuring and what these positioning will be after all) , the car was slightly led to the right, where you were rapidly approaching, although there was no intersection of the machines. I turned to the left at the very last moment , but it was too late, you went into the grass, I drove on. Only by repeating everything was considered in detail and what a pilot  it was...  Embarrassed I apologize again and you can safely protest, I will humbly accept the punishment.  yes
After that  i had a defend battle with Mark, i was slightly in turtle tactic here, not riski in turns so much, because i dont like drift , needed in some turns, but i cant do it due my setup and style. I hope i was not so agressive and defend from Mark attacks, but sometimes i heard, how he  gnashing his teeth  laugh Was fun, thanks for great battle, Mark! I present to you another one photifinish  laugh  Cheesy

Full 2nd race onboard

Great track, great combo!  See you all in next rounds!  punk
PS. Paddles i am using will always loose in compare to good pilots H-Shifter. Especially in hi gears in straights. I agree with it.  Smiley
PPS. FMG as allways top notch work! Very impressed how are you so clear in driving so dangerous drift with other pilots!  Congratulation for win's! Hats off in the deepest respect thumbup2

well that was another cracking pair of races  Smiley plenty of action, overtakes and close racing  Cool

Despite setting some new pb's i couldnt crack the top 3 who seemed to up their own pace once again but was happy enough to be in the top 6.
Race 1 i had the chance of a top 4 place as i found myself keeping up with Matteo ahead whilst fmg and Max duked it out up front. I kept that for about 10minutes until i had a big oversteer at Woodcote which dropped me back into the clutches of Alexey. I then stupidly dropped a gear mid turn of Madgwick that threw me into a spin and gifted 4th to Alexey  taz
I attacked him throughout the race but finished 5th.

2nd race was another crazy multi car battle with Alfas jinking all over the place finding spaces and attacking others, it looked spectacular!  Cool I had a serious fish tail moment at Lavant that several cars did very well to avoid  Shocked but it slowed me enough to drop me towards the rear of the grid. But i had good pace and fought my way back up through the pack  until i re-caught close rival Alexey. We dueled for the rest of the race and although i was quicker in most parts of the track, he placed his car defencively but cleanly enough to stop me getting past...every lap!! I even gave him some rear bumper nudges to encourage him but he wouldn't concede  Grin
Towards the end we passed a recovering Kai so gained an unexpected late place to finish 6th, disapointing considering my capable laptimes.  Sad
So Alexey won 2-0 but with another photo finish  Tongue
Well done to the flying FMG and Max and podium runners  I Am Not Worthy

For all those that spun at St Mary's, here is my real life version, luckily I escaped, but I still can't see what I did wrong.
