Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Not looking forward to this, can't drive this car and this is not an easy or forgiving track. Not sorry this is the last round.

Oh, I like it here, for me the car suits this place well, nothing drastic about it, it understeers in, and
powerslides a bit out, not the most nimble, but that to me makes it a relatively easy drive.....
watch me stuff it into a wall on lap1  Roll Eyes

And on that score... any suggestions for the next 3 series?

Good race (mostly) I had the whole field in site for a long time  Grin then let Pete past, as I was clearly
getting in his way, and then fell off non deliberately letting mark through, caught him up after he
had a wobble and promptly rammed up the rear... sorry Mark, was wrong sighted, and braked too late.
then he went wide somewhere and I slipped past for the finish.

Congratulations to Alessandro for the Championship win  thumbup1 thumbup2 clap I Am Not Worthy
to Riccardo for a close second  thumbup1 thumbup2 clap
and to Geoffers for third  thumbup1 thumbup2

Thanks to all who took part. I just have to try to come up with something new for the next series.  smartass helpsmilie

Congrats to the Series winners. I enjoyed last night’s race I like Bathurst I seem to be able to get into a rhythm driving on it; the M1 I think I’m getting the hang of driving it. Wink

As Alessandro said, a difficult track in these cars, but rewarding when you get it right.

Race was settled for me on the first lap, got a poor start from pole & Alessandro beat me to T1 then inexplicably I understeered into the barrier at the Dipper letting Riccardo past. After that it was a case of chasing our two Italian friends in the hope that a mistake would gain me a place, I found following closely really difficult so engineering a pass was nearly impossible. All credit to Riccardo & Alessandro for not making any major mistakes & allowing me an overtaking opportunity. I Am Not Worthy

So congrats to Alessandro & Riccardo for taking the top steps of the podium in the race & the championship.  clap clap

Not bothered about which cars we drive next & I know Matt likes to keep it more or less historic but I would like to try the GT4s (EVORA!!!!!!!). tt1

My ideal is historic Thursdays, but I will run anything that people want if enough are up for it.
I am doing some more testing, so will come up with a few suggestions soon.
I expect there will be another DTM92/Touring Classics series probably at different tracks
than the current series, other than that I like to have a Porka series, but the 934 Turbo RSR was
for me at least undrivable when I tried it before. I will do some testing with it at other tracks.
I was pushing for some open wheelers, but that went down like a lead balloon, only interest
seemed to be for the Formula Junior, SRW ran a series of those a while ago, and was ok
but didn't seem to grab people's imagination too much. Any thoughts are most welcome
(even if I ignore you  Roll Eyes  )

DO we think Geoff might have an Evora at home ..... Roll Eyes

I did a few laps (with default settings, changed nothing) at Mid Ohio full, and Twin ring Motegi (which, though I've never been to before, I quite like)
1:34.0 +/- 2/10ths in all 3 cars at Ohio,
2:05/04 in all 3 cars at Motegi.

Was slightly faster at each track with the Pork, it is fastest on the straights, and there are a lot of those at Motegi
Pork is a few mph faster on straights than the KTM
The Evora is somewhere in the middle, not quite as fast on the straights as the pork, but (to me anyway) corners better
The KTM is slowest on the straights, but is an easy drive, and very chuckable at twisties. And I liked that one best.
If we run these I will have to choose the tracks carefully so we get a good mix of twisty and fast circuits.

I like these, they are a bit modern, traction controls is handy, non are a tough drive, but drive "in the style of" more traditional race cars.

Had another go at the 934 Group 4 Pork, at Motegi, Imola, and Laguna Seca.
Feels ponderous and slow, but watching the replay it is not  Shocked
It's weakness in this sim is brows, I had a few goes at getting it over the brow at the start finish at Laguna
and spun off every time. It drove nicely at Motegi, and was drivable at Imola, though it is pig under braking
particularly down hill. I know someone likes it, a few more votes and we can run it, again at carefully
selected probably flatish tracks where it behaves best.
