If it's a logitech G25 style shifter just remove the gaiter and surround. It'll work fine then Also, from looking at your speed trace I don't think you're running the right gearing, you're losing loads of time on me when you change into 5th..

Anyway I wasted this morning taking it apart and after a quick test I think its Ok now, I guess we'll see tonight. oh, so do you wanna share the right gear ratios? Max, use paddles in this time - see my laptime. I know it might be odd but I'd rather not, it just feels wrong in a manual car these days

I'm so far off the pace it's embarrassing! Look, I'm quite happy to drop out if grid places are limited.

oh, so do you wanna share the right gear ratios? Looks like you're only out in 5th Alexely seems to equal my acceleration when you factor in his paddles - take a look at his setup would be my advice Pace here will be purely down to practice laps once you have your gears and tire pressures sorted, the entry and exit from Tosa is so critical that it's worth more than a fancy setup on it's own. Same goes for Rivazza, and to a lesser extent, Acque Minerale too. Acceleration onto the straights is the single most important thing here - drifting out of those corners simply will not work where lap times are concerned

Is the race server running? Only the skins are wrong if so as I'm in a red car and Alexey is in something green...

Despite the nasty old cars they are quite amusing. First race I was following Kai closely down the main straight at the end of lap 1, getting myself in a position to overtake into the first sharp left, but his car warped in front of me and we collided. Sorry, not much I can do with the warp there. My ping was about 13 to the server so I guess either server or Kai's end? Ruined his race unfortunately. Eventually had a battle with Alexei which was fun to the end. Second race, started 7th, took it really cautiously in the melee at the start and ended up almost last. Fought my way up to 4th to throw it away on the penultimate lap but recover to 5th.

Don't really understand how / what / when AC allocates skins to cars, thought I had some idea but guess not. Everyone in the results tonight had their own entry in the entry_list.ini file so I would have expected them to have the skin contained in there. I've not checked that everyone's skin is the one listed in whatever topic they're in but if they worked before I don't see why they shouldn't have worked tonight.
Thanks for the apology Alexey, I was trying so hard to not fall off after being spooked with cars coming both sides of me up the hill so to be helped was frustrating. I managed to gain a couple of places after and my pace was such I probably ended up where I would have anyway. For me this has been the hardest Alfa / track combo so far.

How much fuel did anyone have for a race distance, I had 32L for race 2 but my engine did a weird cut 100m from the line. More weirdly after I stopped it then ran Ok with full power, so I'm not convinced it was that

31 here. FMG, can you please send me a race setup? I have interested this combo this week and had a good practice here before the race and was found my setup not so bad, but has not enough free space for maneuring... each cm of track has in count with.. I want to see yours and take a test with it how it should feels and work more properly. Thanks!
